The Past (BaekYeon)

Chapter 1

Chapter 3: Just A Lie

"Doc?"

"Are you the girl's parents?", the doctor approached the couple sitting in the chair. The couple look at each other. "Yes", the old woman lied. Yeah, remember the old woman whom Taeyeon met before she got bumped by that stupid car? She is the old woman, and she is definitely the woman who brought Taeyeon to the hospital.

"Well, your daughter got amnesia after the car accident. You may visit her now before we have the surgery", the doctor left them allowing them to get in.

The couple get in. "I'm not sure we must act to be this girl's parents", the man which is the old woman's husband said. "We must. I got pity on her. If she has her parents, why didn't they came here?", The woman said caressing Taeyeon's face.

"Your right, besides we don't have a child. We'll treat her really one of our own"

A nurse barged in signaling the couple to go out. The couple obeyed.

"It's all we can do for her", said the old woman as she sat. Her husband nodded. He has been dreaming to have a child, especially a girl. But knowing of his wife's condition, he couldn't. But now, that dream will be granted. So he agreed with his wife.

After half an hour of waiting, the doctor went out from the room and walked to them.

"The surgery is successful, you may get in", the doctor said.

The couple went near to the door and slid the door open. The old woman sat by the bedside, "She's our daughter, she's Lee Taeyeon".

"Ughh.....", Taeyeon groaned letting the couple look at her.

Taeyeon opened her eyes but surprise to see two unfamiliar faces looking at her. "W-who are you? S-stay away from me!", Taeyeon stuttered. "Taeyeon, i'm your mom. We are your parents", the woman- Mrs. Lee answered allowing her adoptive daughter to calm down.

Taeyeon calm down.

"Where am i eomma?", asked Taeyeon. "Your in the hospital. Now, dear, take a rest", Taeyeon obeyed and went back to sleep. Mrs. Lee look at her. "Maybe i should go out and bring food for us", Mr. Lee suggested as he left the room.

Mrs. Lee sighed heavily thinking it's her first time to be a mom.

"What could happen? Am i gonna raise her well? What if her memory will come back? And then she would go back to her birth parents? And she's gonna leave me. Alone", mrs. Lee thought.

"Eomma, i can't sleep", a voice interrupted her thoughts. She turn to Taeyeon. "Really? I think you could just lay there and rest but you wont sleep. I will tell you when your dad gets here so we both can eat", Mrs. Lee said.

"Eomma"

"Hmm?"

"What happened to me before i got here, in the hospital? I have been trying to remember it minutes ago but I can't", asked Taeyeon weakly. "Dear-", before she could answer, her husband arrived bringing 3 kimchi. "I'm here!" Mr. Lee shouted delightfully distributing their kimchi. "We should eat now dear! I'm sure your very hungry", mrs. Lee said as she tossed kimchi on Taeyeon's mouth.

Their lunch was over leaving them fully fed. Taeyeon lied back down on the bed and silently sleeping. While mr. Lee lied in the sofa sleeping soundly for he is very tired. His wife sat near the bed laying her head in the bedside beside Taeyeon's hand. They all slept peacefully allowing theirselves to rest. Not until mrs. Lee stood up. She walked to the doctor's office just by the corner near the room.

When she finally arrived, she slid the door open and found the doctor in his armchair. She walked to him.

"Yes?"

Yeah, still boring! Maybe when we reach chapter 5, it will start the fun.
