"Hug me now Old man before I'll change my mind. This is gay. But-. You kno-" I said scratching my nape, unsure of what exactly I should say. But I was interrupted by his tight hug. I smiled as I hug him back.

"My sweet Cosche." Granddad chuckled. "Silly child! This is not gay. This is lolo-apo against bunch of insecure Mafioso traitors and rivals thingy. We need to feel the family bond for us to be invincible." Kumalas siya at tinitigan ako ng masuyo.

I chuckled at his accent.

Trying hard. Sa'n kaya niya napulot ang tagalog na yun? Lol.

"Lolo-apo huh?" I smirked and I took a step forward to his very own swivel chair then I sat pretty.

"I can manage to understand tagalog now yet I can only utter few of it. But young Maranzado can talk and comprehend. For your amenity." He smiled. He's standing on front.

I roamed my gaze all over his office. Manly. The way I want my office would be. Black and white and on the side is a glass wall.

"You really sure I'm going to accept him?"

"I trust him."

I don't.

"And so the Old Maranzano."

"Guilty as charged."

"Why?" I eyed him intently. Poker faced on mode.

"Your existence until now and so am I."

"The exchange is what? My parents?" I said with a hint of bitterness.

"Death grip my dear C. Only me and you they can keep." He muttered.

"Okay. I'm sorry old man. Anyway, is everything settled for later?" Iniba ko na ang usapan. He's my lolo. My only relative. We're the last Licciardi. Though I have Camorra's behind me but that doesn't change the fact that I'm the only one he got. Kaya ayokong makipag-away sa kanya.

"Yes. The grand hall will be open to all the Sicilian Mafia's Five Families together with their top 10 soldatos and so with the Associates." He clasped his hands. His chin on top.

I smiled. No scratch that. A creepy smile crept on my lips.

"Nice!" I rested my feet on top of the table.

"Geez! Lady C! L-A-D-Y!" My granddad hissed. I laughed. His face serious. "I don't like your plan but I trust you and all I can assure of is your safety. Just in case. The Omerta were there." He sighed.

Magsasalita pa sana ako pero nagring ang phone ko.

🎶Ring ring ring🎶

"Pick it up my dear." He chortled.

I laughed hard. Alam niya na pinagtitripan ko ang tumatawag. Hindi kasi ako agad-agad sumasagot ng calls. Minsan nga hindi ko na sinasagot. Kung bakit? Wala lang. Feel ko lang magpaka-importante.

Problem with that?

"Oh?" I uttered with annoyance. I shift moods every now and then. They have to deal with it.

Nahuli ko namang umiiling-iling ang lolo ko sabay tawa ng mahina. I rolled eyes.

"I can see Sicily Island from here. I miss you." The other line answered.

"Really? Wait." Bumaling ako kay lolo. "Lo, call Mr. M. The old M. To get my Five Families at the port." I said.

He nodded and made a call using his phone.
