"Okay pups, it's time to turn in."
"Elder Rawiya you didn't tell us a story yet!"
"Oh it seems I have forgotten. What shall it be tonight children?"
"The Sun and the Moon!"
"It's been a while since I have told that one, okay children then after this it's off to slumber with you."
** Luna, the Moon Goddess, was a lonely god. She created werewolves but eventually they left her to find their mate. She is able to conceal them from humans but for how long? How long will her children last in this world if they don't stay within her protection? When will her children truly be happy and safe? When Luna created the first Were soul, Louvel, he took a piece of hers, that's why they are bound to her. Galiel the God of Sun is in love with Luna but is forbidden to be with her because she rules over the night and him the day. Galiel was lonely as well, until he realized how he can communicate his love to Luna.
White tigers were rare creatures; with them having only a couple thousand in their species and being day hunters due to their stark coat he knew that she would love to see one up close. He fused a piece of his soul to a tiger. What he didn't know was that by adding a piece of his soul to that one tiger, he transformed all tigers and some of his power copied over into them. As Galiel admired his work the snow colored tiger shifted into the body of a woman. This was the start of the madness. He named her Tora and told her there was only one thing he asked of her, to speak to Louvel when she joined the humans and give him a message to pass to Luna. Louvel was her first creation and she was particularly close to him. Tora did her father's bidding, unbeknownst to both of them was that Louvel was her mate. Galiel created her with the intent to become one with Luna and that transferred to Tora as well. Luna created Louvel because she wanted a companion therefore he seeks a companion. **
"So that's why we find mates Miss Rawiya?"
"Yes, we have soulmates because as Luna's children, we are still looking for our companion."
** Tora and Louvel actually were seeking each other. They mated suns later and it's because of that joining Galiel was able to finally be with Luna. Their lines mixed so they were connected to each other. The other gods were infuriated. Here they were, stuck by themselves with no one to love and Galiel and Luna have love? No, that just wouldn't do. The gods plotted against them, they decided to kill both Tora and Louvel to force Luna and Galiel apart.
A year after Tora and Louvel mated they sent their followers to kill them. Their mistake was not knowing the couples' powers. Tora, being the daughter of the sun, had all of his powers. Being the God of Sun/Day he had control over the elements and the weather. Luna had an array of gifts that transferred to Louvel but not even she knew of his full strength. When the assassins appeared outside of the young couples' hut they believed themselves to have won. They just set the hut on fire, well tried. Tora was outside the hut picking from her crops. She felt men moving through her fields and knew it was not good. She got the gift of vanishing from her mate and vanished to the apple tree just outside their small home. She watched as they tried to light the hut but it just wouldn't light.
Tora was dropping the temperature and making the wind blow the torch every time it was near the hut. She alerted her mate of the intruders and she heard him howl as he shifted. He broke through the door and attacked the first enemy he saw. Tora couldn't shift, she kept coaxing her tiger out but she didn't come. From her vantage point she hit enemies with rocks, branches, and even lightning. One of the traitorous gods had tagged along with the small army and saw they were losing. She decided to attack Tora, they really only needed one gone. Tora felt a blade slice her ear, when she turned she saw the Goddess of Destruction throwing another blade her way she vanished out the tree and behind the rogue god. She was woozy from that last vanish but she didn't know why. As she bent over trying to steady herself she was grabbed by the shoulder and she looked into the eyes of Death.
