I woke up one morning overly happy. All I remember thinking

was Oh my gosh I can't wait to go to art today!!!! The truth was, I

didn't really like art that much, so I was really confused. I found

myself smiling for no reason. But then, it occurred to me: I was

thinking of LEO. LEO JOHNSON. The one that I had hated for

years! Well, not years, but A year. I couldn't wait to see that smile

and take in the sweet scent of him. That sounds weird, but really,

it's what happened. I sighed and got dressed, brushed my hair

and teeth and zoomed out the door to the bus stop. Then it

dawned on me: I get to see him 1st hour! I started bouncing up

and down, completely overjoyed. "What's up with you, Elizabeth?"
Rob asked with a laugh. "Um...er...uh...The bus is here!" I said with
an embarrassed squeak. I raced onto the bus at lighting speed and
sat down in an empty seat. "Hey, Eliza, can I sit by you?" Rob

asked with a grin. I tried not to roll my eyes. He ALWAYS wanted

to sit by me. To be completely honest, I would've perferred to sit

alone some days. "Sure" I forced out, with an equally forced smile.
He sighed and sat down. We didn't talk the whole ride. But when

we finally got to school, I bounded off of the bus and into the

lunchroom for breakfast. When I saw him, my heart completely

stopped, and I almost collapsed. I really do like him, don't I? I

asked myself. "Wow..." I breathed, astonished. I grabbed a tray,

got my food, and sat in "my spot" at the end of the table. Leo, of

course HAD to have sat in the seat DIRECTLY NEXT TO MINE and
I blushed like fury. "H-hey Leo" I stuttered shyly. "Uh, hi?" He said,
obviously confused of my tone. "Er..." I didn't know what to say! I

shook my head, gulped down my food and headed to class. "Wait

up!" I heard behind me. It was Leo. "Um, okay! " I called back, still

blushing furiously. We walked to class together, worked on our

homework together in 1st hour, and eventually, it was time to

go to art. He smiled at me, and I smiled back sweetly. Art turned

out to be amazing. We just sat there, Leo smiling and me smitten.

I loved every moment of it. And was so confused of why I loved

him now, and not before.....
