"You're eviiiiil!!!" Person number two laughed.

Person number one laughed along. "I just need to do it at the right time."

"Well we all know he's going to fuck up, so there is always a right time. Either way it's going to get leaked, poor little girl." Person number two shook their head. "I'm actually starting to feel bad for her."

"I'm not, the little bitch deserves what's coming towards her."

"Just give me the signal when you're about to do it, I also have the perfect plan. You ready to hear it?"

"Spill." Person number two smirked.

Whatever was showing on TV had simply become white noise as his fingers hovered with indecision over the trackpad. Caught in a sort of internal struggle, Justin toggled back and forth with whether to send the email or delete its contents entirely. There was no malicious intent behind his actions, he was only reacting fairly. He whispered that assurance to himself as he ended up saving the email as a draft. He'd deal with this later. There were bigger things on his plate to concern himself with today.  He knew what he was planning to do would go either one of two ways. Either dreadfully wrong, or perfectly well. He was banking on the latter.

The hem of your dress barely touched the floor of the club as it trailed almost ethereally behind you. Your leg peeked through the thigh slit of the sheer floor length skirt with every step. The crystals draped across your neck caught and reflected the lighting as you weaved through the crowd. You were a vision in sparkles and black; no doubt the star of the party.

A tap at your shoulder led you to turn around, a barely familiar face met you, full of smiles and eyes already dilated in the tell-tale sign that they'd been taking full advantage of the open bar.

"Happy Birthday Y/N! Amazing party, thanks for the invite."

You nodded and thanked them for coming much like you'd been doing all night. You didn't know ¾ of the guests there, but smiled and graciously accepted their birthday wishes all the same. You'd quickly found out one of the 'perks' of being in the limelight were all the 'friends' that came with it.

You turned around and nearly walked right into the one you'd been looking for.

"Dance with me!" your eyes lit up at her request with no intention of declining.

She took your hand in hers and led you to the middle of the dancefloor. The DJ spoke into the mic as he changed to yet another upbeat single, psyching up the crowd even more. You swayed your hips and mouthed the lyrics as the strobe lights flashed continuously overhead.

Audrey followed suit, lacing her fingers with yours and bringing your joined hands in the air while you both rocked to the beat.

For those few moments on the dance floor you were transported back to a time where things were much simpler. A time before Justin, Drake and the fame. Back to when you and Audrey would get up, dress up and show up to clubs simply to dance the night away as a tried and true formula to relieve pent up stress from a busy week before.

Your reverie was broken the moment the DJ chanted your name, echoed by a chorus from the two hundred plus guests in attendance.

You blinked rapidly, momentarily blinded by the strobe light that flashed passed you. Your eyes widened when you recognized what you thought was a passing light was actually a spotlight, steadily trained on you.

It became clear then that the DJ had attempted to get your attention. The music played at muted levels as he spoke into the mic.

"Looks like the birthday girl has a special performance prepared for her," the crowd cheered, drowning out his next words and you could only stare expectantly ahead as another light appeared on the stage.
