Nick left to go get some sodas for us whilst I grabbed a table. Soon after I sat down Chrissy and her crew sat down at the table behind me and began to gossip.  "My mom was freaking out last night." Chrissy said. Lucy said, "Mine was too." "No way, mine was too. was is about Dan and Phil's YouNow?" Kris said. "You bet. It's the first news anyone has heard of their child since they said they had one." Lucy said. Chrissy said, "Yeah, they have a daughter that's got to be around our age." "Hey got you a Rootbeer." Nick said handing me the soda.  I swatted at him to be quiet as he whispered. "Oh ease dropping." "And she must go to our school since we were the only school having an after party and a football game." Chrissy continued.  Lucy said, "If we figured out who she is we must get her to join the cheerleading team." "Of course, she'd love it. She'd be pretty and popular. She'd also be our kind of smart." Chrissy said. If they only knew they'd be so disappointed. I'm not a girl who's interested in cheerleading or being someone i'm not. That was the end of the gossip about me and Nick whispered, "Shit, now i understand why  you listen in. Juicy gossip is so interesting." I just giggled as Chrissy walked up and practically sat on Nick's lap. "Alex did you hear about Dan and Phil's daughter?" Chrissy asked. I shook my head no and took a swig of my soda as did Nickolas as she continued, "Because there's no way she'd be friends with a slutty untalented whore like you. I mean look at you." I rolled my eyes and she took it as a challenge apparently. "Oh so you think you are better than me?" she sassed. I replied, "I didn't imply that at all." "You versus me Karaoke right now. Audience picks winner." she said slowly getting off Nick's lap.  I replied, "Okay, Alright." "I of coarse will be going first." Chrissy said with a flip of her hair as she walked over to the DJ and I gave her a weird look. "Why does she always want to prove she's better than me?" I asked. Nick said, "Because she's a jealous ass bitch. Besides, let's be honest here. You are a way better person than Chirssy will ever be. And your singing is AMAZING." "How do you know I sing well?" I asked. Nick said, "I hear you sing along with the radio, I'm not deaf."
