The following story is a work of fiction. Inspired by the photo above and the song "Hudsonville MI, 1956" by La Dispute I came up with the premise of this story. I don't own the photo or the song. I decided to write this because after dealing with repression regarding my own sexuality I fell in love with the 1950's and became interested in how people of the LGBT community lived their lives. Though this story is not a complete representation of what life was life for those people I do hope you enjoy it :) The picture above has its own story and is not of the people I am writing about. I hope this is remotely cool/good and I hope someone reads this XD comments really help me get inspired to write more so if you like the story please say something! Predictions/suggestions are always welcome as well ^~^ thank you
