"It's. .It's gone." I mumbled, just barely audible. Baekhyun hastily pulled down his sleeve and smiled nervously. "Quick healer. . ." He said before pushing my stunned body out of the way and rushed out the room.

"Hey. .w-wait!" Nurse Lee stuttered under her breath before reaching out to him, just a hair off from grabbing his shirt. "He's gone. . ."

My brown orbs focused on a crack in the wall as I chew my bottom lip in dip thought. "Hey." I felt a slight nudge in my bicep. I didn't answer, I just dumbfoundedly stood there like a frozen rock.

I felt a harder nudge. "Hey, you alright?" Nurse Lee asked. "You look pale." I looked up quickly, making my head dizzy and my body sway. Nurse Lee jumped into action and fondled me in a mother like way. "Woah, woah. Okay, Ha Yoon. How about you lay down a while and rest. I'll notify your teacher."

I nodded slowly as I quietly crawled into the bed layered with cold, stiff, white sheets. My head poofed on the dull pillow as my mind played and rewind Baekhyun's face and the event mystery behind that.

My mind kept on tickering until I drifted off into an innocent nap.

I awoken to the sound of rattling behind my slightly transparent, white curtains that gifted me privacy and dim lighting. My curious eyes examined the four shadows making a quiet ruckus just loud enough for me to hear.

My eyes snapped shut in panic when I heard a faint moan in distress and then silence. The only thing I could hear was my pounding heart as the curtain were yanked open and I could feel light pouring in my use to be sanctuary.

Three pairs of pattering feet came my way when I heard a loud slam against a wall and multiple gasps of shock. My sprinting imagination not being able to hold anymore scenarios of what could be happening beyond my close eyelids demanded for my sight to be granted back and watch what was going on before me.

"Kris!" One of them yelled when a tall, lanky man with blonde hair and striking eyes came into view pushing away the cause of all this chaos. My eyes followed where the man known as Kris pinned their attacker. My jaw dropped. "B-Baekhyun? Byun Baekhyun, what are you doing here!?" I yelped, startled and afraid.

Throughout gurgle, pained sounds, Baekhyun choked, "Saving your ass!" before he maneuver his slender legs around Kris's large, strong waist and kicked him, making him stumble back a few steps. Which gave Baekhyun just enough room to escape from the corner and knock out Kris and another guy in a flash. He would've dealt with the third one too, but that one escaped by window.

He looked at me and then Nurse Lee who was slumped on her office chair, unconscious. "Are you alright?" He asked calmly. I shook my head furiously wondering why he could be so relaxed in a situation like so. "What time is it?" I asked, worried if any students were near and saw the whole unhuman, heroic act that just went on before my very eyes.

He glimpsed at his watch. "4:36 PM."

"Oh my god! I slept throughout class all day!? I have to get home!" I quickly got up, ignoring the minor dizziness, and grabbed my blazer hastily. "Woah, woah. Calm down, sick girl. I'll drive you."

He grabbed my navy blue blazer and led me to the school's parking lot, where his gray sports car and few other cars were at.

Baekhyun opened the door for me with a cocky, proud smirk. Getting into the car, I asked, "What's up with that annoying look?" His smirk grew as he walked around onto the driver's side and muttered, "Oh, nothing really. I just like to savor the fact that I played as Superman and you were my Lois Lane."

I gave him an odd look that soon turned into a satisfied smile. "Cheesy." He pulled out onto the main road and teased, "Is that a bad thing?" I got all flustered and focused on the two yellow line in the middle of the road. "N-No. . ."

After my shy response, all was silent in the high class car, a comfortable silence.

Making a turn in my familar, refreshing neighborhood with the help of my directions, Baekhyun asked, "Which one is yours?"

"The little red one with the balcony."

Pulling into my driveway we heard shattering in my house and saw lights on. My body screamed with anxiety and my brain rushed and slurred like it was drunk. "Oh no! They're here!" I screeched while clinging onto Baekhyun's shirt.

His pink hair fell into his brown, gorgeous eyes as he stared down at me with concern. "It could just be your parents or siblings." He stated.

I shook my head. "No. . .They are out visiting distant relatives." His face got serious and dour, but his eyes screamed relief and excitement. My brows knitted together as my insides quivered in confusion and fear.

I feel like a small, oblivious child when it comes to him. I hate it.

"Ha Yoon?"

"Yes?"

"Do you want to stay at my apartment for a day or two?"

an -

The girl above is Da Eun (Ha Yoon's best friend).

&

Yes, yes. I'm completely aware that in Seoul you have apartments and condos. Not neighborhoods and houses.
