Waking up on a monday isn't the best thing, its not the best day on a week, but for me it seems like it is. Nothing had changed, YET!, But I still had to go to school.
As I looked in the mirror to fix my hair up, I said to my self "What's the worst thing that could happen in the next two day; Nothing right?"
As I kept messing with my hair, a knock from my door made me jump, "Damn it mom, can U not!"
"Sorry, but don't be late to school honey," she shouted before I opened the door almost hitting her face.
"Mom, I'm not a baby anymore..Do I have to remind U every time that U treat me like a baby?" Looking at her with a pretty serious face.
As I walked into the kitchen to get something to drink, I hear my doorbell. Walking away from the fridge; very anxious to know who decide to come up to my house on a Monday morning, I picked up my bag so that I wouldn't have to come back for the damn thing.
As I looked through the tiny window on the door, I quickly opened the door realising who it was. "What up Mason," Speaking early before he opened his lousy mouth.
"Sup, dog! hoping you could give me a ride to school, you know I have my girls waiting."
"Fuck you man, the heck you think I am; a cab? Get your ass in the car I'll be there in a minute," I raised my voice as I went back for my phone.
I hopped into my car and saw Mason messing with my radio, "Why wont this damn thing turn on."
"Hey genius," I said as he looked at the keys being held in my hands.
I put the car keys in and turn the car on and as fast as I do so, I see Mason's hand going for the radio. "Hey stupid, if I heard one stupid voice coming from your stupid stations I'm kicking you out, Clear?"
"Shut up. What are you expecting; yes sir? " he said while he made one of his stupid faces.
After a five minute drive, we arrived at school where every girl near my parking spot freaked out when I a arrived. I saw the girls running through Mason. Yeah he didn't look very happy, "He'll be fine," I said to my self as I shut the car door and walked towards what seemed like my good old pal Tony but he was a mess today. He probably got drunk again over the weekend but, eh, who cares.
Everything was alright today, the teachers we're chill, I wasn't even supposed to be in school today. I am 3 days away from graduation, I needed a break from this hell hole. So, I went home right after studyhall.
"Yo man, are U going home?" Two voices came from behind me, it was Tony and Mason.
I turned around and saw them speed walking towards me. Did I know what they wanted? No! I bet that they were gonna ask for a ride. It wasn't going to hurt me if we went out for a ride. "This damn bastards," whispering before they caught up to me.
In less then 15 seconds I hear Tony say, "Why so serious?".
"Man shut your drunk ass up," I yelled before looking at the captain of the cheerleading squad.
She came up to me really close. I told the guys to go to the football field while I talked to Rebecca. As Rebecca got closer to me I said "Hey, do you need something?" while i looked at her 5ft short self.
"Yeah, I have the invitations for the after graduates party; if U want to come?" She replied as she grabbed my hand and placed the envelope on it.
I walked away and looked back. She was wearing some booty-shorts and damn she looked nice on them, it was like two marshmallows squished into two cookies for a Mega smore. I kept looking at her until she was out of site.
