Silent Crush

Chapter 1

'Shit. I'm so screwed if she catches me' I thought to myself as I carefully twisted the nod on the front door. Trying very hard not to get caught, I succeeded and carefully opened the door. I took my high heels off so they don't make much of a sound. Trying very hard I creeped up the stairs almost made it to my door when a lamp light turned on. 'Oh I'm so over screwed' I thought to myself.

My little brother walked through the hallway in his pjs, walked towards me, looked up, shook his head, and went inside his room.

"What the...?" I whispered to myself.

My parents room swung opened and my mom was standing outside her bedroom door looking at me in disbelief.

" where have you been young lady! It's 2 am in the morning!" She tried to not yelled, but failed seeing as my little brother, Anthony, had woken up.

" mom. Mom. Mom." I said trying very hard to explain, but she cut me off. "Young lady. I asked you a question now answer it!" She said in a pissed off tone. I shook my head and looked down at my naked feet.

"Mom, I was at a party with Angela" I said trying hard to contain the fear that was rushing through my body. "It's not like we got drunk! We just went to hang out with our friends. I swear to you mom, we just talked." I said trying very hard to defend myself.

She gave me a sigh, and then went inside her room. I stood outside her bedroom door like an idiot. Not knowing what to do. She came back out and handed me a flier.

I looked to my mom questioning
What she wanted me to do with this page. As if she had read my mind, she gave me a look and said in a serious  " you'll be volunteering there for a whole week, whether you like it or not."

"BU-" she cut me off.

" no buts!" She said annoyed with my responds. " get to bed. You have a long day tomorrow" she said with a smirk on her face suggesting that I can't charm my way out this one.

I lifted my hands up in the air and swung them down with a huff.

" Nina! Behave yourself!" My fathers voice came from behind my mom. " fine!" I said in a pissed off tone. I didn't even bother saying good night to them.

I stormed in my room and belly flopped into my bed. I flip over now facing my ceiling. With a huff I realized it could have been worse . So I closed my eyes thinking about the hell hole that's waiting for me when I wake up. With that I fell asleep after a couple of minutes later.
