Chapter 1

Clarke's POV:

Starting a new school sucks. You never know anyone the may accept you or not. My mom getting a new job. To somewhere I went to school before. I had friends here before: Octavia, Jasper, Monty, Finn, Raven, Lincoln, and the Famous player Bellamy Blake. Bellamy. I had a weird relationship we would argue 24/7. I know the soft Bellamy Blake... he might act all tough but all he really wants is for Octavia to be happy. When he gets close to someone he will always protect them. When I met Bellamy in 9th grade he was a ladies man. Enough talking about Bellamy Blake.

My mom got a job to come back to Arcadia... I'm in 12th grade. We bought a house has 2 floors. We unpacked everything and brought it into the house. It is 6:30 in the morning my alarm goes off I don't to get up I thought to myself. I quickly get up, take a shower put on shorts and a crop top that says ' Princess' on it. I put on white vans I go down the stairs to see my mother.

After my fathers death she hasn't been the same. She is acting like she was the only one that knew him. He was my father we both loved him equally. After his death she tried being happy and acting like nothing happened... obviously it was to hard for her. She started to drink herself away... all she sees when she looks at me is her husband, my father. So I try to get out of the house as much as possible. My mother says to me " don't you have school?" she says slurring her words. Obviously she has been drinking. " Yea I do. I going to school now. Do I have to be back at a certain time?" she replies " No I don't even care if you come back bye... Clarke." " Bye mom"

I walk to the door slamming it shut. I have the keys putting them in the ignition turning the car on. I turn on the radio listening to ' Close by: Nick Jonas '. after a couple of minutes I arrive at school. I get out of my car and lock it, then I see Octavia, Lincoln, and.... Bellamy with Raven. Octavia looks at me with a confused look. I run up to her and hug her she is surprised at first then, she knows who I am she hugs back. I let go and look at her she says " CLARKE OH MY GOD!!! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" Bellamy looks at me trying to see who I am then he says " Princess nice to see you again. I've missed you." he walks up to me giving me a hug... I hug back, something in him has changed more caring. Raven buds in pushing Bellamy back " who are you? Hugging my man? better back away slut." I look at Bellamy not saying anything " Bellamy... might wanna keep your dog on a leash." He looks at me shocked at first but then smirks. Raven says " I'm not a dog you whore. I'm trying to get you off of my man." Raven starts poking me in my chest. " Bellamy I don't want to get into a fight the first day." Octavia looks at me. I'm assuming she doesn't like Raven either. Raven says " I bet you can't fight me your just a fake bitch." I get really mad when people call me things. " one: I'm not fake. 2: might wanna check yourself before you call people names... your just talking about yourself." Raven runs at my before she can hurt me. I punch her in the face. Everyone looks surprised... Exceptionally Bellamy, I turn around walking away. I can see why I moved to a different school.

I'm walking down the halls. My knuckles already bruising because I punched Raven. That bitch deserved it. I ran into someone. of course the person I've been wanting to avoid. Bellamy Blake I try and speak " sorry u-uh sorry" " It's okay Princess anytime to save you." he smirks at me " aren't you dating Raven?" " No just slept with her yesterday. she didn't have a ride so I gave her a ride." " makes since that is the Bellamy Blake I remember." I smile at him. " Princess I missed you... Octavia missed you a lot too." " I'm sorry I had to leave because of my mothers job... then we moved back because of a new job and after my fathers death." Bellamy looks at me with sadness in his eyes. " I'm sorry about your father Clarke... my mother was murder when I was 14." I just look at him for a moment before doing what I was doing. When I was in 10th grade I always had feelings for him as a friend but when I first hugged him and saw that he actually cared. I knew I would care for him I looked at him and hugged him. He hugged me tightly enough so I couldn't move. I let go quickly he looks hurt when I do that " I know who you are Bellamy... all you do is try to be nice to a girl to get in her pants." " he replies fast but hurt in his eyes " trust me I wouldn't want to get in your pants. Better girls are here." he looks at me and walks away. He probably saw that I was hurt. I just ignore it, I'm walking over to Octavia to see her and Lincoln talking... I love seeing her smile and care-free. " Hey O." she turns around with a smile on her face. " Hey Clarke wanna go to a party tonight? would you mom care?" I look at her " My mom wouldn't care. Of course I wanna go to a party." I say to O she just looks at me and smiles " Come to my house we are getting ready there..." As Octavia was walking away " Oh yea Clarke.. Lincoln is picking me up early so you have to ride with Bellamy." She has a grin ear to ear. " Fine O" I tell Octavia wants Bellamy and I to be friends that be kinda hard. After school ends I go to i in Bellamy looks surprised to see me. Octavia looks at me " your gunna look good tonight okay... I picking out the clothing." She grabs my arm tugging me up stairs. Octavia picked out her cloths a black dress the serapes are silver with black flats. Octavia picks out for me a a black dress the straps are on my shoulders, with black high heels " O I look like a whore." I saw myself in the mirror " Clarke you look Hot soo you might get so guys numbers." she wiggles her eyebrows I just laugh.

After I have my outfit on Octavia drags me to the bathroom to do my makeup which is Red lipstick and mascara. Octavia is already downstairs waiting to see Bellamy's face when I come down the stairs. As I'm walking down the stairs... All I see is Octavia's grin I at the end of the stairs and Octavia says " I did good. Bell your going to take Clarke to the party because Lincoln is picking me up early." She waves to us " Bye guys! good luck." she mumbles the last part. Yea good luck to me. Bellamy looks at me and says " You look amazing Clarke come on lets go." I nod as we walk out side he opens the car door for me. What is up with him wanting to be all nice all of a sudden. After a awkward car ride with Bellamy we arrive at the party. As we walk through the door with Bellamy every girl is giving me glares. Then when I go to get a drink I see Bella telling me to hurry. I fast walk over there " What the hell is wrong?" he replies fast " There was this girl Gina I slept with now she is obsessed with me... I need you to pretend your my girlfriends okay?". " Bellamy this might ruin your reputation." I say smirking at him. I say again " yea I will but you own me." I see the girl Bellamy was talking about. She walks over and says " Hey Bellamy wanna go up stairs?" Bellamy says " I'm with m-my-" Gosh he isn't that good at lying or he doesn't want me to be called his girlfriend. I finish his sentence " Girlfriend." he looks at me and smiles.... a real smile not a smirk. Gina replies " Bellamy that is NOT your girlfriend... if it is prove it." he replies " how do I prove that she is my girlfriend? really Gina" she says " Kiss her or go up stairs with me." she says smiling. Bellamy looks at me. " Gina I will kiss him.okay my boyfriend will not go up stairs with you." I saw calmly. I look at Bellamy he is smirking.
