This update is long overdue. I just don't have the time anymore. It gets real hard to even get a spare moment. School drains my life, I swear.... Just got a spare hour, decided to write again I apologise for the wait. Really I'm sorry...
On another note this is a picture of John, Alexandra's boss. His partner is included in this chapter, but I just can't get two pictures to appear above. So up is John, below is Kyle. Anyways enjoy the long awaited chapter which I again sincerely apologise for.

Alexandra's P.O.V:
Going back to work today was hard. I mean I think every single person in the restaurant knows about Jayden and I, thanks to the little scene we caused. Thank god Mindy wasn't there. She is legit the biggest gossiper in town. Everyone knows about how Ms Rose has had about 3 husbands in about 5 years because of Mindy and big mouth and nose that cannot stay out of anyone's business. Let's just say we don't see Ms Rose around anymore...

Anyway after the big 'talk' (call it that if you want), Charlie opened my eyes to something. I'm to nice. I mean not that that's a bad thing, being nice and all, it's just that I'm to overly nice. When I think I hurt someone's feelings, I don't stop pestering them until I have earned their forgiveness. I won't eat, sleep, drink (Ok, I'm over exaggerating), until I earn forgiveness. I forgive people to easy, just like I did with Jayden. Friends? Seriously? I jumped and said "Hey Jayden, I forgive you and everything and you know what lets hug and be friends.?!"
No!! He really hurt me, much more than he could ever imagine and I think everything is a walk in the park. I'm going to make that man work for his forgiveness. Make him grovel at my feet.... Damn I feel guilty for saying that . Ok so I'll make him work for his forgiveness. I have come to a conclusion....
Acquaintances we are!!

If you don't remember, I work at Johns restaurant and do a bit of everything. Waitressing, account managing, manger... I just do whatever is around and always get a decent pay check from John. I realised as soon as I saw my clock that I had been pondering over this topic for over an hour. Here I am sitting in Johns office doing nothing. I was meant to be organising pay.  Shit!! Gotta get to work.. Gotta get to work. Suddenly my door flings open. I grab some random pieces of paper off Johns desk and pretended that I had been looking at the papers in pure concentration.

"Cut it out Lex, I know your faking... again."

I breathed out a sigh of relief. It was Kyle, Johns lover. (Above). He is a sweet guy, kind of like the older brother I've never had. He always protects me and let's me get away with not working all the time.

"Kyliiieee Wyliiiieeee!!! I missed you sooooo much." I ran to give him a hug and just as he enveloped me in his arms he whispered:

"Don't worry Lex, I won't tell John ok?" The moment he said that I stepped out of his arms and gave him a huge smile.

"Thank you Kyliiieeee."

"Damn it. Are you ever going to stop calling me that. Call me Ky or Kyl or KK for all I care but why Kyliiieeee?"
He said stressing on the I and E.

"Because your my Kyliiieeee." I said repeating the very actions he had just did.

"I heard."

Great, another person to add to the list of knowing Jayden and I's scene at the restaurant. Damn it!!

"So..." I said trying to chance the subject, "how are you and John? Have you proposed yet? Are you going to?"

"Nice try Lex. Now explain."

It took quite a while to explain to Kyle what had happened at the restaurant until now. I think he sensed that I was confused and even a bit frustrated.

"I think you are on the right track you know. Playing it hard to get or in your case hard to forgive. I don't think he should be let off that easy you know. Give him something to work on. Let him try and get you to forgive him. Make him want you back the way he claims to. Don't let him off easy. That will be the biggest mistake that you ever make, letting him get off easy. Don't do it. At all."

Digesting his advice, I realised that he was right. He and Charlie were telling me to make him work for my forgiveness and trust. Work for it like he never has before.

I jumped and gave Kyle a big hug and kiss on the cheek and received a huge smile. I then realised my shift was over. Running out of the office saying a quick bye to Kyle, I ran out of the restaurant with a new goal etched in my brain.

'Ok Jayden, time to make you grovel at my feet...'

      Damn I did it again.
