Now, Crowpaw was in a bad position. he had picked the wrong fight with the wrong cat. It was only him and the young StoneClan cat that had trespassed on his territory. Both cats were circling eachother, hissing and yowling. "Alright, you stupid rock-walker!" Crowpaw spat. "When you come into my territory, I'll make sure that you'll never come back!" The brown StoneClan cat rose a growl in her throat. She snickered. "You really think you can beat me!?" The trespassing cat taunted. "You're merely an apprentice, and yet, you decide to fight a fully grown cat!" Her tail flickered in amusement. Crowpaw did realize that her teasing statement was true. This was a fully grown cat he was fighting with and he's had no experienced training! But, this She-Cat was on his territory, and he knew that this was quite the advantage to him. Letting out a shrill yowl, he sprang for the she-cat, claws unfurling as he reached for the cat that dare trespass. The Stoneclan cat let out a yowl of surprise. Crowpaw immediately looped around the cat and dove into the thick pine trees. He moved silently pawstep by pawstep, stepping on dead pineneedles and sap. The she-cat became furious. "Where are you at you filthy coward?!" She exclaimed. Crowpaw poked his head around a thick tree trunk. Small rays of light poked through the dense trees, making his sleek, black, fur shine bright. His amber eyes narrowed as he stared at the she-cat. She was confused and angry, peering around the area Crowpaw had jumped. Her hazel eyes blazed with fury as she became frustrated once more. "Come out you stupid coward!" She screamed again. "Your only advantage is how your fur is black as night, like all of Nightclan cat's hearts!" Crowpaw snapped. He wouldn't be called a coward with a black heart. It was an offense to him and his clanmates. He would not let this Stoneclan cat get away with that! "Noone calls me a coward!" He shrieked as he lunged once more, directly hitting the she cat and knocking her onto the forest floor. Dust and sand flew up as the Stoneclan cat felt the impact of the blow. Her fur stood on edge, ready to shred Crowpaw. Then, she laughed. Crowpaw let the she-cat get back onto her feet and he began to laugh as well. "That was great Mousepaw!" Crowpaw complimented. "Thanks Crowpaw!" The bouncy she-cat exclaimed as she waved her tail in joy. "Well done, the both of you!" A sudden voice congradulated. A fluffy she cat peered through the bushes, her white fur stood out in the dense darkness, like the moon shimmering in the dark nightfall. Her blue eyes were glazed with pride. "That was a beautiful defense Mousepaw." The white she-cat purred. "Thank you, Onewing." The pale brown she-cat mewed, bowing her head with respect. "Crowpaw, excellent lunging skills...-" "Thank you Onewing!" Crowpaw exclaimed as he rudely cut her off. His fur stood on end for a second until Onewing continued. "But, Mousepaw is right, you use your fur as your own personal advantage, and as good as that is, you wont be able to use it in a battle that isn't in Nightclan." Crowpaw's fur rose up again. "I did good!' He spat. "I can do anything!" With that, he stomped off towards the edge of the river. The CreekClan creek stopped at a very small waterfall, known as the tinyfalls, so small, even a kit would survive! At the bottom of the tinyfalls, it whirls into a small pool and winds into a deep river. It meant that Nightclan was in two halves, no cat has ever asked or ventured beyond the edge of the Nightclan border. His tail swayed angrily at the dirt. "Crowpaw!" A voice called out. His ears flicked in the direction of padding feet. He turned to see Mousepaw, her fur was on edge and her eyes were filled with anger. Onewing wasn't far behind either, the same reaction was plastered on Onewings face. "Crowpaw.." She began, a little less angry. "Every time someone says you make the slightest mistake, you always shout at the cat who corrects you!" Onewing blurted out, her big, fluffy tail swishing angrily at the wind. "Well, why shouldn't I always be right!?" He spat with fury. "My father is the deputy, I deserve to get my way!" Crowpaw's angry blast of words were true. He was the son of Raincloud, Nightclan's deputy. Crowpaw was proud of his father, and he wanted to be deputy himself one day. Mousepaw just rolled her eyes. "Just because your the son of some cat, doesn't mean you have the power to boss us around." She mewed angrily. Crowpaw's eyes turned to narrow slits. He lashed his tail at her. ''My father isn't just some cat! He yowled. Mousepaw opened her mouth to say something, but Onewings tail covered her mouth as she silenced her. Onewing's blue eyes were blazing with anger. "Everyone of your clanmates is important." She began. "If you ever want to be anything like your kin I suggest you quit moping and start training." Crowpaw looked at the two she-cats, their eyes were filled with confusion, wondering what he was going to say next. Crowpaw sighed and stood on his forepaws. "Fine." He mewed a bit impatiently. "Let's get training again."
