Chapter 3 ( Can I have this Dance)

As we enter the Grand hall of the resort, all eyes on us. Well come on were so late because of those selfies remind me again not to take so.many pictures for one night haaaay I mentally faced palm myself.

After those long stares and walk to our table we settled down. Though its not that far actually. Letting out my breath I didnt know I was holding. Yaaah thats how nervous I am not even noticing my sorroundings .

Mentioning my sorroundings I can feel Im in Englad I presume with all those sculptures and Gothic design adding the gigantic chandelier in the middle top. Hmmm I wonder wheres the queen ? ahaha just kidding.

Our dinner was delicious starting from the appetizers down to dessert where heavens I Love them . Me and Shane are always like this when it talks about food. Seeing Shane as she enjoy her dessert beside me but still never forget to get a comebacks to our little chats with our friends.

As the party continues everyone decides to dance so we dont want to spoil the fun we move to the dance floor and dance like crazy. Now that was fun.

Soo much with dancing I will not wonder if my feet sores in the morning. I went back to our table and relax a bit drinking my orange juice. Just as the emcee came up the stage.

"I see all of you are having fun with all the dancing and im sure you all love the food am i right? " everyone cheers in her statement. " But I have to cut your eagerness for a suprise announcement" a pregnant pause for all of us are focused on what would it be " As you all know every ball has this tradition where in the host of the event annouces a King and Queen of the night" students gasps with this twist of events most of us are suprised and some are eager to know and be the one chosen . Typical teenagers if you may ask me . But for me I really dont care as long Im enjoying the party with my dear friends.

"We together with your teachers and supervisor already have chosen the perfect King and Queen for tonight" he continues "Im sure all of you are surprise but its not just a simple coronation and dance in accordance to the juries decision putting a little bit of a jelly in this night we organize a romantic date after their dance, a very lucky couple will enjoy a highclass experience in their dinner date" everyone where silent as the emcee finishes her last statement.

"Very well, for no further adue I will announce the chosen King and Queen of the night" drumrolls while everyone gasps some girls giggle, tisss guess i know who were excited.

"Mr. Stian Maxfield!" I almost spill my drink and choke! " When?What???!! " asking shane with confusion " yaaah you heared it right Yve, its your good for nothing ex there annoucing as king" shane said rolling her eyes.

ohh yes hes my ex you know one of those stupid love deal and mistake I made over two years ago, still we are in the same school but we dont talk or even glance with each other after HE DUMP ME ON THE PHONE! yes! so no wonder i still dont like him and i regret I fall in love with him and its really deep. haaay stupid love affair.

Back to the scenario, everyone cheers and clap when he was the kings since his One of those "Mr. Popular" person ive know well most of the student body. Now most of the student are eager to know who's the unlucky queen I mean the lucky one. (note the sarcasm)pfft. as if I care.

"And now for the queen....Ms... ahmm.....Ms. Yvonne Rodriguez! " and it was my time to be shock in the middle of the spotlight! WHAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!! OH NO NO NO NO!!my head is going wild right now! seriously! I would eat a whole lot of garlic before i get paired with that douchebag!

Great now everyone is looking at me now! I could clearly see the shock and sad expression of my friends ohhh Gosh! i need help i think im gonna barf!

" ahm yve i think you have to move you ass in there and go claim your crown?" Sean said with the weird expression which i couldnt figure out wether hes excited or a sign of condolence!

knodding my head i didnt know what to say or how to react anymore. Moving my feet Im on top of the stage. Wow I didnt notice I walked that fast.

"Congratulations to both of you ,now enjoy your dance as king and queen" I didnt notice Stian was beside me until ..." Can I Have this Dance?" and he smirked, seriously he enjoys my humiliation tonight.

"Do I have a choice? " rolling my eyes as I accept his hand.

Just like yesterday were like this holding each others hand and feels like the whole world stops. But now its a total different. There were no longer an US.
