Song For The Chapter: Gasoline - Halsey

You didn't know what made yourself choose William... or 'David' first. Maybe you held some hope for him, that he had changed. It was obscenely clear he hadn't crawled out of his bad habits yet. It was a shame really, he was a nice guy but something snapped for him.

~William/David's POV~

Well, [Insert Gender Here] decided to show up again. I chuckled to myself and pulled out a cigarette.

Oh, [Insert First Name Here] was always so naive, it was quite amusing actually.

What was his name... Jenny, or Jerald? Something like that... Even he wasn't that innocent! Him and the others had caught on well enough what I was doing in my, let's say, spare time.

~Flashback, third person POV~

"You can't-" The brunette had started off before another furious brunette yelled at him.

"Wake the hell up! This isn't a fucking dream!" The angry brown haired male almost threw himself at William.

"Wha-" A ginger onlooker started before being cut off by yet another male.

"Dude, it's like your hearts a machine man, you're not a human being." A black haired male rose up yelling from behind a bush.

"I mean you walk around thinking you own the place with you face all made up. Easily able to convince innocent kids to follow you." Another black haired male, but this time with blood red glasses replied.

"I think that's enough, you know what they all say. It's the ones who do terrible things that have a reason for doing it. He's probably just low on self esteem." The ginger male from earlier surveyed the others in a stern voice.

"... So he runs on gasoline?" The tanned male smirked as he pushed his green glasses up his nose.

"Nice try." The ginger mocked jokingly, his lips pulling upwards into a slight grin.

"Wh-Where's Kevin gone? Is h-he still..." The blonde male who was watching the exchange happen suddenly piqued up.

"Yes," The male with the green glasses sighed.

~End of Flashback, still Third Person POV~

William leant back sighing. He did feel slight remorse but wasn't willing to admit it. After all, he had killed one of his... Best friend's younger brother's best friend?

"Heh, I think there must be a flaw in my code then, provided I really am a machine."

He suddenly sat up, recognising another presence in the room, surveying his actions. He swiftly turned around, unarmed. He didn't always carry a weapon around like he should do.

Before he could say something to greet the person glaring at him, they beat him to it by ominously speaking the next sentence.

"And those voices won't leave you alone."
