Cujo Returns

The Legend of Cujo

    Tad Trenton and Brett Camber stood side by side as a group of kids listened to Wil Farhan tell the story of Brett's dog. "Cujo was a very sweet animal, until he got rabies. He killed three people! Legend has it, if you go to that house on a full moon, Cujo will arise for revenge." Wil said trying to scare the children.

    A 12 year old boy named John Parker looked at his friend Jubal McCoy. "Hey, tonight's a full moon. Wanna go check it out?" John asked. "Sure!" Jubal replied.

    "I don't like Wil putting that idea in kid's heads." Tad said worried. "Yeah, I don't want them having an experience like we did." Brett replied. Wil strolled up to them. "Uh Wil, you do know that dog killed my dad, right? You're bringing back too many awful memories for me and Tad." Brett explained to Wil.

    "Oh come on! That dog's dead. Long gone! Ain't nobody gonna get hurt now." Wil said, trying to be soothing. "We know that. But it ALMOST killed me and AND my mom." Tad responded. "Try to forget about it. That's what I did when my dad was killed in the army." Wil replied with a sad tone.

The moon was full and bright. Jubal and John rode their bikes down an old dirt road. They came to a stop at an old rusty gate blocking the entrance to an abandoned house.

"You scared?" Jubal asked John. "Nah." John replied trying to sound cool. The two boys threw down their bikes and jumped over the gate.

John walked around, examining everything. Jubal wasn't too far behind him. They heard a rumbling sound, like dirt moving. The two boys quickly spun around to see a nasty looking dog with glowing red eyes arise from the dirt. "Cujo." Jubal said in fear.

John raced inside of the house. Jubal tried to follow but Cujo bit into his leg. Jubal fell to the ground, screaming in pain. The dog jumped on top of him and began ripping his flesh. John couldn't go back for his friend. It was too late.

Tad's cell phone rang. He looked to see that John was calling him. "Hello?" He answered. "TAD HELP! IT'S JUBAL! HE WAS JUST MAULED BY CUJO!" John screamed. "That's a lie! We both know Cujo's dead." Tad replied.

Brett was at Tad's house that night. "What's going on?" Brett asked. "Oh it's just John exaggerating that Jubal's been mauled by Cujo." Tad replied. "Well, I guess we should go over there." Brett encouraged.

The two drove over there to find out that John wasn't lying. There laid dead Jubal, skin ripped and intestines pouring out. "Oh my God!" Brett yelled. Tad grabbed a taser out of his car. They climbed over the gate.
