Sheer darkness enveloped the forest, the only source of light being the translucent December moon which threw eerie silhouettes throughout the unusual opening.

Dazed and confused at how he got there, the handsome young man gazed around him cautiously. Panic and dread threatened to overcome him, fear crawling its way up his throat as he desperately strained to remember.

And then it was gone. All the unwelcome feelings drained away from his body instantly as he stared longingly at the hypnotic crystal blue eyes piercing the gloom.

Teasingly the slightly demonic looking creature stepping into to the spacious opening, an alluring smile plastered onto her beautiful face. The gentleman stifled a gasp at her unworldly beauty. How could one be so painfully perfect?

Letting his eyes inspect her freely, he saw her cascading pitch black hair, so black it seemed to appear blue in places, as thick as a waterfall of ink.

Her high, slanted cheekbones; an angelic button nose; full blood red lips; perfectly arched eye brows; luscious dark lashes, which, of course framed her enticing eyes.

Swallowing deeply, he felt doubt beginning to creep inside him as he again began to frantically wonder how he'd got here, and who this young woman was. However, bringing his eyes back to meet hers, he once again felt serene and secure.

It was as though he was captivated in her eyes, no harm could possibly come to him. He was safe.

So, when she began to slowly walk towards him - slightly hunter like - he didn't flinch or step backwards but stayed firmly planted to the ground. Clearing his throat, the young man spoke confidently his sure voice hardly quavering.

"Who are you?" He was abruptly cut off by the young woman when she placed delicate fingers on his lips, her eyes betraying a slightly psychotic gleam as she did so.

This quickly disappeared, leaving him unsure as to whether it had really been there.

Sensing his unease, she quirked her lips up into a reassuring smile that didn't quite reach her eyes and balanced her ice cold fingers in the nape of his neck, making him shiver as she did so.

"Shh, don't be afraid." she drawled softly, her voice far more beautiful than any instrument he'd ever heard. "You do trust me, don't you?"

The man found himself nodding hurriedly in agreement, regretting the look of hurt portrayed clearly on her vulnerable face.

The smile dropped off her face and was immediately replaced with a frightening sneer, as her once beautiful features twisted in a cruel mask of distain. "Foolish boy."

Filled with fear and betrayal, his blood whooshed in his ears making it hard to hear and he soon realised he was hyperventilating.

Leaning in close, her lips curled back revealing the only part of her face he hadn't seen, the two long teeth which could be only described as fangs. Watching his pupils dilate in fear, she felt only satisfaction as she sank her teeth into his neck.

Allowing his lifeless body drop to the ground, she wiped her hand across her mouth, and spoke brusquely...

"My name is Clara."
