~Chapter 1~
~Evelyn's POV~
Why is she bleeding?"
"Honey, go get some cold water and a towel"
"Kay' mom"
All the voices became clearer and clearer. I tried to open my eyes, only being able to squint.
"Mom mom! She opened her eyes, she's awake!"
I moaned feeling a sharp, ripping pain in my lower stomach.
“Mom, the cold water and the towel.”
“Sweetie, everything going to be alright” a calming, light voice reassured.
All of a sudden my heart started beating really fast, pounding, as if it was trying to escape. My breath was getting shorter, gasping for air. I felt like I wanted something, something so close but too far to reach. Out of nowhere cold beads of water trickled down my sweaty face. An icy cold towel was lying across my forehead. Suddenly my heartbeat went back to normal being calm and steady, the throbbing pain in my stomach wasn’t hurting as much, and I felt satisfied somehow. I kind of felt connected to something, like something was helping me…
