Chapter eight - the devil
Matts pov
I watched as she fell towards the floor yet I was paralysed I couldn't catch her
I had to watch as her body bounced against the edge of the stage Amy knelt beside her checking her pulse Brian groaned in frustration as chelle dropped. To the floor
"so these pretty girls join our family hmm"my fathers voice whispered around the room "your staying with us" I nodded slowly my gaze fixed on Amy to give me some sign that my babygirl was ok
She smiled up at me
Chloe's pov
I woke up to someone humming softly "chloe sweety are you awake"I groaned my heart was banging against my ribcage "babygirl"matts cool breathe filled my nose "open your eyes for me"I sighed quietly "matt my heart hurts"I whimpered "I know baby just open your eyes"I peeked through my eyelashes "wider"he chuckled I opened my eyes fully blinking in the light "it still hurts matt"I snapped rolling away from him "she's grumpy"Brian whispered to chelle "and you can't whisper very well Brian" I huffed laughter echoed through the room "why don't you all just leave me alone"I yelled pointing to the door "you heard OUT" they scurried for the door while matt chuckled beside me "that includes you matthew"he growled quietly "your hearts gonna hurt more if I leave"I shrugged burying my face into the pillow as he slammed the door
"what's up your butt"chelle chuckled jumping into my bed "I thought I told you all to leave"she scoffed "why he ever chose you I don't know your pathetic Chloe you always have been your family don't want you so you stole mine pretty soon matts not going to want you either"she snarled heading for the door her word cut like I knife I bit back tears climbing out of bed I pulled on some random clothes and headed to the window I was only on the first floor so it wasn't much off a drop
I had no idea where I was so I headed towards the woods hugging my jacket tighter I weaved in and out of the trees my phone vibrated in my pocket
"where are you sissy"
"babygirl where are you"
"chloeeeeeee where are you jimmy needs a huggle love jimmy"
Turning it off I continued my walk every twig snapping or tree rustle gave me a heartattack which only made me more aware of the burning pain in my chest I hopped over a small stream following a path of stones up towards what looked like a abandoned house
Hesitating slightly before slipping through a gap in the door
Well it's definitely abandoned I sat in the middle of the floor carefully
"you must be Chloe"I snapped my head towards the voice "I'm serenity or ren"I nodded taking her in she looked like a doll porcelain face big chocolate eyes brown bouncy curls frilly White dress
"he loves you ya know"I laughed bitterly "but for how long"I looked around noticing she was gone "great now I'm crazy"I mumbled drawing in the dust
"not crazy my dear"I groaned "I'm lucifer matts father"he chuckled I jumped to my feet what do I do I panicked "curtesy dear"I bowed my head crossing my ankles and bending my knees slightly "dont let fear control you my dear that why your with matt isn't it hmm"i shook my head "i love him I think but he scares me sometimes"I mumbled shuffling my feet he snapped his fingers causing the burning in my chest to burn more intensely I dropped to my knees gasping
"farewell my dear"I whimpered curling up around myself "CHLOE"it sounded like Amy and Katie "help me"I whispered hugging my knees tighter
"she's in here"a sweet voice soothed somewhere by my head "ren where"Amy panicked rushing towards the voice "she's fading" heavy footsteps pounded along the pathway towards the house "babygirl talk to me"I was vaguely aware of matt crouching next to me "Chloe I'm sorry I didn't mean it I was angry"chelle sobbed struggling in Brians grip to get to me
"make it stop please"I mumbled a tear falling onto the dust covered floor "I'm trying babe I'm trying"I opened my eyes matts face filled with pain and worry cut through me like a blade "kiss me"I whispered I didn't need to say it twice as matts lips were plastered against me soothing the burning until it began to shrink away into nothing "your MINE now"matt whispered against my lip "I'm never letting go"I nodded tiredly burying my face against matts neck.
Later
"Chloe are you awake"I sighed burying my face into the pillow I felt the bed dip beside me "i'm sorry I was just mad at everything and matt staying with you while you slept and Brian didn't with me"I sat up pulling her into a hug "forgiven"I chuckled "PARTYYY"Amy screamed sliding into The room followed by Katie and Emily who were shuffling I laughed quietly "god you guys are weird"chelle mumbled wiping her eyes "but not as weird as us"johnny walked in doing the macarena with jimmy and Zacky "oh wow"Amy laughed "shake your your groove thing baby"Amy shouted while eyeing up johnny
Oh what a night this is going to be !!
