"Kids! I want you to meet your new brother!" Samantha yelled. I could hear squealing and soon enough three kids charged at me and wrapped their arms around my legs tightly, nearly making me fall.

"Momma he's really small." One little girl said, pulling away from me. She was one of twins, although I had no clue which one. Either Ava or Abigail. The other little girl pulled away too, leaving just the boy, who I was assuming was Bradley.

"He has red hair just like us!" One of the girls said, and she was right. Both of them had the same red hair as I did, although theirs were more curly and frilly.

"Yeah, and his name is Alan," Samantha said, coming over behind them. "This is Ava," she introduced the first, "and this is Abigail," then the second. "And that's Bradley, I can already tell he likes you." Samantha added, grinning.

Bradley was still clung to my leg, his face buried in my jeans. I felt a little uncomfortable, but it was obvious he wasn't letting go any time soon.

"He doesn't talk, though the doctor said he will when he's ready." Samantha said, looking somewhat sad. Bradley looked up at me with a grin, squeezing my leg tighter before running off.

"Tyler! Please come down here!" Samantha yelled. There was a loud groan and a thump before a boy a year or so older than me walked into the kitchen. He was only a few inches taller than me, but he was skinny too and had curly brown hair.

"Is this him?" Who I would assume was Tyler, asked. Samantha gave a nod and smiled at me.

"Yes, this is Alan, and Alan this is Tyler." She introduced us, Tyler gave a small smile and I forced myself to do the same. "Honey, why don't you show Alan his room?" Samantha suggested, Tyler gave a little nod and beckoned me to follow, and I did. I grabbed my things and followed behind him out of the kitchen and up a set of stairs. Tyler led me down the hallway until coming to a door at the end. He pushed it open and stood to the side, allowing me to step in and look around.

It was rather big, already furnished with a bed, desk and dresser. Slowly I walked further inside and headed over to the bed, carefully setting my things down.

"My room is the first at hall," Tyler said, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Later I can show you the rest of the house, if you'd like?"

"Sure," I mumbled quietly. Tyler smiled at me again and said he'd be in his room before leaving what was now mine.

It was so quiet in here, except for hearing the little ones running around and laughing. It felt weird not sharing a room with other people, considering I had been sharing one with two people for a long time. To me, being in a room with other people felt like it was more at home, but now that I was alone, the at home feeling disappeared.

I put all of my things away, hung all of my clothes up in the closet that was big enough to fit several people inside and even put up a few pictures that I did have, some of them were of me, Kellin and Jaime and all of the others, and one or two of me and Austin, but I had a small handful pictures of me and my mom. You would think I wouldn't have kept them, seeing as she practically abandoned me, but that didn't mean I didn't love her. She was my mom.

After I finished and my duffel bag was completely empty, I let out a loud sigh and fell back against my bed. It was bouncy and super comfortable, making me relax against it instantly. I was already bored, but I didn't want to go downstairs and I didn't want to talk to Tyler...well, not yet at least. He seemed nice, actually. I half expected him to be one of those kids who was rude to everyone and liked to make a mess of things, but he was nice and seemed fun to hang out with.

My phone buzzed, forcing me from my thoughts. I looked at the screen, smiling widely when I saw that it was Austin.

"Hey Aust," I answered, biting down on my lip.
