The Wolf in Winter

The meadows were turning orange and brown. The cold was almost here and Starlight the arctic wolf of the north has a problem. She needs to find shelter from the storm and is west from where she is. Starlight's family is dead, due to a big winter storm last year. Starlight needed food and water but the storm was getting closer and closer. The Unicorn of the south move to the north for cold and waited for prey. Then it found Starlight. Starlight ran and ran. Then she was struck down with the unicorn on her. Biting and scratching, the unicorn bit her leg and then.... SWISH!!! The unicorn was killed and Starlight was in a deep sleep. Starlight dreamed and dreamed. The Creature standed in front of Starlight and pick her up and put her on it's back to bring her to safety.

 When it was morning Starlight woke up and saw she was lying down. The Creature was in front of her staring at her. The Creature stared at her and licked her. When it took off it's hood Starlight saw a cute black flame wolf with a glowing amulet. Starlight was amazed. The creature said it's name was Starflame. Starlight thought it was a beautiful name. Starflame and Starlight were in the den and Starlight was injured badly. Starflame used his amulet and healed her to health. Starlight was better. They both went in the open and hunted elk and deer for food. Starlight ate food and so did Starflame.

Starlight and Starflame were staring at the skies in the night. They look at the stars. Starflame said that Starlight was so beautiful and pretty as a flower or a star in the sky. Starlight blushed and then....she kissed him and Starflame never saw it coming. They were finally in love and they would be the great parents of their pups. 

Three months later Starflame and Starlight had pups and they were so cute. The couple standed proud and howl the loudest of all wolves. Their amulet glowed with light and stars in the air. Then the Alphas call the place their home.
