Thirteen Years to Wander and to Wonder - The First Meet

The clear night sky had never given away any secrets before but on a certain night of December a phenomenal activity had taken place on the dark inky canvas called the night sky.

Some people believed it to be the work of aliens while others feared that the end of the world was drawing closer. To those who believed in witchcraft and wizardry, they had thought it to be the work of a powerful wizard.

They were all correct in each aspect and to their own rights and beliefs, as it were all connected.

There were extra terrestrial beings who were trying to contact humans to tell them that in the next two thousand years the world human kind knew would come to an end.

They contacted with wizards who let out bright and powerful jets of lights from their wands so that the aliens would find them and shed light on the grave news that would have to be shared with them.

They met at the usual meeting spot - Stonehenge.

The meeting took place at the most beneficial time for the magical folk which was the witching hour. There were six aliens or better known as Cruatians from the planet Cruatia and accompanying them were the wizarding folk. Six in total, three being wizards and three being witches.

"Well whats the news this time?", asked the oldest and wisest wizard.

"It's bad news", replied the nearest Cruatian named Nordox.

"Well lets hear it then.", said a witch known as Kendra Brown.

"The world that you live in will come to an end in the coming two millenniums.", replied the Cruatianstanding opposite to Kendra, he was known as Zorbit.

"That... Is indeed sad and grave news.", responded the old wise wizard named Merlin the Fifth, the direct decendant of the great Merlin who served King Arthur, "But let us first take rest by taking a seat."

Waving his hand a stone appeared out of nowhere. It was circular in shape with a hole in the center much like a doughnut. The twelve beings seated themselves.

"How long have you been travelling for since you left Cruatia?", asked wizard Jack Smith.

"It took us an Earth year to reach here but it will take us more time to return as we have to take a round trip to gather some things.", answered the leader of the Cruatian pack Asena.

"Ignito!"

A small ring of of fire appeared around them. A mousy looking witch had casted the spell, her name was Samantha.

"Good! Now I can see better!", she said beaming with pride for the fire charm she had cast.

"You could have used the Night-Eye charm like us instead of casting that flame you know. People will notice the ring in the morning.", scolded Jessica Smith, Samantha's older sister.

"Sorry...", said Samantha looking a little disappointed at her stupidity. She had the looked up to notice the Cruatians.

They looked like humans except for the fact that their ears were pointed and they were well over seven feet tall.

"Kornob, Zono, Buhak go get the sabers.", ordered Asena.

The underlings followed orders bringing forth a black box. Inside it were five silver wands which theCruatians called sabers. According to Cruatian belief the wand was called the saber as it could save and also take lives of others living things. The box was bought forth to Merlin.

"Thank you for your gift.", said Merlin receiving the box, "Joseph if you would please."

Flicking his wand the third wizard had made the box vanish.

"We have a reason to give you those for we do not easily part with our sabers which yields a power more powerful than that of your wand. There is someone who is slowly gaining power, we could not find out who exactly. This person plans to bring forward the extinction of your planet, that is what we have managed to find out.", said Asena, "At this very exact moment five exceptional human children are being given birth to. Give them these when they turn thirteen for the saber will not yield to anyone except them and not before they acquire the correct age."

"Train them for the next five years after that, we of course will also come to help but as for the beginning we shall have to leave that to you.", explained Asena.

"Hmmmm I understand. I shall see to it that they are taught by the best, you shall not have to worry about that for even if that isn't enough, I shall teach them myself. You have my word.", said Merlin.

"Very well. We shall take our leave now and return back when time calls for it. The rest is in your hands.", said Asena.

"And we shall anticipate you arrival till then.", replied Merlin standing up making everyone follow suit, "Till then, have a safe journey back."

Shaking hands the Cruatians leave for their ship to leave Earth. Merlin waves his hand and makes the circular stone seat disappear and with it the flame goes out.

They all vanish leaving no clue or trail behind except for the burnt flame ring causing people to speculate about what may have caused it.

They vanish.... To appear thirteen years later!!
