Laurance's POV

The soft glow from my computer screen glistens onto my face, it reflecting off of my eyes. I hear the creaking of my door, it barely audible due to my earbuds being in use. "Who's there?" I ask. The person doesn't say anything. I take my earbuds out from my ears and spin my chair around to see a beautiful blonde there. "Hey." I smile. Garroth nods at me, then sits down on the edge of my bed. "Hey, Laurance..." Garroth seems slightly out of it. "What is it?" I ask, wheeling my chair closer to him. My socks slide across the wooden floor easily. "C-Can we talk?" Garroth asks. I nod. "Well... I've suddenly lost interest in Aphmau and I don't know how to feel about it." Garroth says, seeking advice. "Well... If you've lost interest in her, then maybe you like someone else." I give Garroth a soft smile. A small blush brushes onto Garroth's face, it disappearing quickly. I don't mind it. Lately, I've noticed him blushing more when he's around me. I don't think it's me that he's blushing about, it's probably just something that came to mind. "D-Do you really think so?" Garroth stutters. "Maybe... I don't know what's going on in that head of yours." I poke his head playfully, then end up ruffling his hair. "Hey! Stop it!" Garroth exclaims as I pull my hand away. He messes with his hair in attempt to get it parted the right way once again. I roll my eyes, a breathy chuckle escaping my mouth. Garroth chuckles as well, his more genuine then mine. I sigh, "Do you like someone else, Garroth?" I ask, a small spark of hope bursting inside of me. Garroth's face immediately turns bright red. "M-M-M-Maybe." Garroth stutters. Butterflies explode in my stomach, them swirling around like they're having a party. A really... Really crazy party. I look at Garroth, who has a nervous look lingering in his teal eyes. I get closer to Garroth. His breaths are shaky. He seems unsure about something, but I can't exactly say I know what it is. I get out of my chair, sit down by Garroth on my bed and wrap my arms around him in a warm embrace. Garroth's body tenses up at the sudden impact, but he soon shakily wraps his arms around me as well. "GET A ROOM." Dante yells. I can hear both, Dante and Travis snickering at the opening of the door (I guess SOMEBODY... Garroth, forgot to close the door). I unravel myself from Garroth's grasp quickly. I stand up and walk over to the blue haired and white haired men. "We do have a room. And how about you get out of mine." I push the two out of my room and slam the door in their faces. "Idiots." I mutter under my breath. "We live with idiots, Garroth." I sigh, then sit down by him again.

"Yeah, we do." Garroth nodded in agreement to the statement taking another glance at the now closed door. I followed his gaze and I could hear the faint sound of shuffling from behind the door. I let out a sigh and gave the door a look as if Dante and Travis could possibly see it.

"Guys, I know I said get out of my room but that doesn't mean you can be right outside by the door!" I state. I get nothing as a response before I heard the voices of a familiar bluenette and a white haired from the other side of the door.

"I told you he would know!"

"I didn't think he would!"

"Come on let's go."

"But I wanted to watch Gaurance happen!"

I held a slight annoyed look in my eyes and I'm pretty sure Garroth could see that because in his eyes there was a similiar look and it did take one to know one. I soon found myself staring at him and when I finally noticed so did he. A blush sprawls up to my cheeks from embarrasment for being caught and his cheeks reflect the blush as well.

My blue eyes flickered away from him and everything fell to an awkward silence. The only sounds were the shuffling away of Travis and Dante from out my room. I awkwardly clear my throat and avert my gaze back to him.

"So...you like someone else?" I finally spoke up trying to recreate the moment that literally happened a few moments ago.

Garroth's blush worsens a bit and he nods a simple yes in response. "Y-Yeah.." I scoot a bit closer to the taller male until we were literally next to one another. "Do you mind if I ask who is it..?" I questioned. "It's...it's someone I know really well."

That was when that hope from before returned to me. Rather than it bursting inside me, it felt more like it crashed into me. "It is?" I say needing to hear him confirm it. "It is." Garroth nodded once again.

There's a slim chance that he could be talking about me, but maybe that's just the hope inside me giving me, well.., false hope. Though I couldn't just keep sitting beside him, trying to hide my feelings for him.

I couldn't take it, especially when he started liking someone else that wasn't Aphmau.

"Look Garroth, I love-" My eyes slightly widen and my hand flew up to my mouth to cover it. Garroth's teal eyes stared up at me with the hint of hope and confusion in them. They kept staring at right into my eyes making it hard for me to look away from his gaze.

I tried to continue the sentence though I couldn't find my voice and him staring directly at me waiting for me to finish wasn't really helping me. "I-I...I really like that you're moving on from Aphmau, yep." I say trying to play it off as that was what I was originally going to say. It sounded so fake, but I couldn't just admit my feelings right now. Well..at least not like this.

Garroth looked kind of disappointed in what I said though he forced a slight smile. "Ah, thanks Laurance. I know that I'll always have your support.." "Yeah, always." And with that Garroth then got up, bid me goodbye, and walked out of my room.
