Lovers Today (Chapter 6)~Third Time's A Charm!.... Right?

Garroth's POV

"Garroth, seriously!?" Lucinda exclaims into the phone. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know what else to do..! I panicked!" I defend. Lucinda sighs, "It's fine, Garroth... I'm coming over." Lucinda says. "T-That's not necessar-" I get cut off by the beeping of my phone, showing that the orange haired girl ended the call. I groan in annoyance. Lucinda's so stubborn... "Oh, hey Lucin-" Laurance's muffled voice is accompanied by the closing of a door. "Bye, Lucinda...?" Laurance's statement comes out more like a question. Lucinda storms into my room, flustered. She closes the door behind her, then gets close to me. "I can't believe you took two potions!" She whisper-yells in my face. "I'm sorry! I didn't know what to do!" I exclaim. Lucinda shushes me immediately, "Those potions are extremely powerful and extremely dangerous! What were you thinking?" Lucinda scolds. I shrug, "Third time's a charm..." I answer. Lucinda facepalms, "You're an idiot, Ro'Meave." She mutters into her palm. I give her a cheeky smile, "I know." I reply playfully. Lucinda removes herself from her palm and uses that hand to punch me in the shoulder. "We all know that!" She exclaims. I cower down and rub the spot of my arm that she hit. A smirk grows on my face, "You punch like a girl." I say. "I AM A GIRL, YOU IDIOT!" Lucinda screams. I snicker, "Stating the obvious, aren't we, Lucinda?" I question in a playful manor, just trying to get the orange haired girl mad. A scowl grows on Lucinda's face. "GARROTH, YOU LITTLE-" She starts. "Uh, uh uh. We don't want somebody exploding, do we?" I cut her off. Lucinda socks me in the face. "I deserved that." I mutter thru the pain. Lucinda sighs happily, "I feel better now." She says. I growl under my breath. "LAURANCE, YOU IGNORANT CHILD!" Travis yells from the living room. I wonder what's going on in there....

Laurance's POV

"LAURANCE, YOU IGNORANT CHILD!" Travis scolds. "What'd I do?" I question, trying to be innocent. Travis grabs the substance from my hand, "THIS!" Travis screams, pushing the object in my face. "So what? It's only a little magic." I say. "IT'S A LOVE POTION FOR IRENE'S SAKE." Travis yells. I shush him immediately, "Garroth will hear you!" I whisper-yell. "HE DESERVES TO." Travis continues. "CALM YOUR GRANDPA SELF DOWN, TRAVIS! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!" Dante screams from his room. Travis turns around angrily, "WITH VYLAD." Travis snaps. Dante grows silent, "DANTE, I SWEAR IF YOU ARE.... I WILL--" Garroth starts from his room. Muffled words escape from his room then, "GARROTH!" Lucinda exclaims. Garroth snickers. I turn back to Travis, sighing. Travis grabs me by the collar of my sweater then pulls me outside. "Hey! Let go of me!" I exclaim, trying to bat Travis' hands off. Travis lets go once we're a few feet from the door. "You can't just go around getting love potions from Donna and Logan!" Travis scolds. "Uhh.... IT WAS YOUR IDEA." I snap. Travis scoffs, "Was not!" He exclaims. "Was to!" I reply. "Stop acting like children! You're grown men." Lucinda's voice rings distastefully in my ears. Travis and I glare at the woman, but Travis' glare softens (Only a bit). She says her snotty goodbyes, then struts off to her green house down the street. "Ugh... Lets just go inside and talk about this later." Travis starts to walk inside, but as he places his hand on the doorknob, he looks back at me, "And you're cooking dinner." Travis says, then continues his journey to the inside of the house. I glance back at the sky, "Hm.. I guess it is getting dark." I mutter to myself. I shrug it off, then walk inside.

~Timeskip, Garroth's POV

Now's my chance! Since I have 2 extra potions, this should work perfectly. Besides, Brendan gave me an antidote that him and Lucinda made when he gave me the original potion. But I unfortunately couldn't give it to Laurance in time before Travis exploded and went into 'Protective Future-Boyfriend' mode. As Laurance sets the plates of food down on the table, it's followed by drinks. Laurance sits down and takes a sip of his drink. When the brunette isn't looking, I snatch his drink and sprinkle a bit of the potion into it. I slide the glass back to it's original spot. A few minutes pass where Laurance doesn't drink anything. When I look away, I see Laurance in the corner of my eye taking my drink and putting something in it. Is that a... Another love potion? I force myself to keep my head in place. Once Laurance sets the drink back down, I look back down at my food. Dante and Travis are looking at both, Laurance and I strangely. Travis is glaring at Laurance as Dante is starring at me. "Can I help you?" Both, Laurance and I say at the same time. The bluenette and white haired boy start to stammer upon their words as they look around the room. "Uh... Uhh... No, no.. I-- Uhh..." Travis and Dante start to say a whole host of rubbish. I shrug it off and continue to eat my dinner, Laurance and I both hesitant to even look at our drinks.
