A year later and they're still together.

I was about to turn seventeen, having met emily at the end of my freshmen year. It's august and my junior year starts a week after my birthday, we were walking the beach. "Jewel?" "yes?" "i wanted to propose but were not old enough to marry so i thought we could wear promise rings instead" "you want to marry me?" "yes, will you marry me?" "yes!" she pulled the rings out and put one on my finger and then one on hers. "since we're on the subject, do you want kids?" i asked. "yes" she said, "who's carrying the first kid?" she continued, " will" i said. "deal" she said, we walked back to my house holding hands.
I heard my brother talking to my mom in the kitchen, "mom.. you know how Jewels a lesbian?" "I'm bisexual alex" "oh right.. but.. anyway.. like... I'm gay" and silence, then mom said: and? i love you no matter what" "that's a relief"
Later that night I was leaving the bathroom when I heard my brother talking in his room, he was playing games online. "Ew! Go to hell! Freak of nature!" I heard, from my brothers room. "Well that failed" he said and sighed as I took the controller from him and deleted the user that he was talking to, "what about the guy who likes to wear pink sometimes?" "I could try" "good night sis" "good night"
I walked down the hall to my room, Emily I'd asleep on my bed. Our party is in a few days, emily was snoring softly. Her red hair framed her face, I laid down beside her and drifted off. The Next day after school i was watching tv in the living room with emily when my brother came in with another guy, "hey!" "you sound happy" "i am" "who is this" "sam" "nice to meet you ma'am" "i like the shirt" "thanks Jewel" "mom sam asked me to be their boyfriend" "they're?" "yes ma'am, when alex brought up his preference it clicked in me that i'm genderfluid" "what is that?" "fluctuating between male and female as well as both, and none" "oh okay"
"its nice to meet you officially sam" i said, "you too jewel"

I've been really busy lately so have patience with me, i'm trying to write whenever i get the chance, i will try to write again this weekend.
