CHAPTER ONE
Jasmine struggled to hold in her tears. How was she supposed to tell them? The news came so quickly, like her mom had thought of it in an instant.
It all started a week ago, Jasmine and her mom were out at dinner, which was rare, unless there was a special occasion or something.
"So.. Mom.." Jasmine had said, aware that her mom was urging to tell her something.
"What?" Mrs. Frank blurted, instantly, but to instantly.
"Mom, come on. Somethings up."
Her mother put down her fork and rested her hand on Jasmine.
"Sweetheart, I thought long and hard about this, and I think," She paused for a minute and looked at Jasmine.
"I"m moving to California!" Jasmine blurted out to her friends.
