Clark, Alexander---1st period GYM  Ugh. This is going to be one hell of a year. I sighed in disappointment and started walking to my locker to put the stuff that I probably wouldn't even need as much today.

"KENDALL!" I felt arms get wrapped around my waist and I stumbled back a little. I looked back to see my two best friends, Jenna and Hayley. We're more than just best friends---We're all sisters from another mister. The three of us grew up in the same neighbourhood and have been in at least 3 same classes. We have also been competing in dance competitions so we have been inseparable ever since.

"So how's your ankle?" I asked Hayley. Unlike Jenna and I, Hayley is only trained in contemporary and ballet. Jenna and I on the other hand are trained in ballet, Latin ballroom, ballroom, and contemporary.

"It's still sprained but it at least feel a little better than last week. How was your guys' latin ballroom competition last week? Which one of you came in first?"

"It was awesome! My partner and I won first!" I replied.

"I came in second," Jenna pouted jokingly but smiled afterwards.

"As always....So why'd you look so glum awhile ago?" Hayley asked.

"Ugh. I have Mr. Clark again" I said as I rolled my eyes and slammed my locker shut.

"What's wrong with him?" Jenna asked. The bell rang before I could even answer, signaling students to go to their first period class. I sighed again because I probably don't have any close friends in P.E. How great is that?

"I'll tell you guys later," I yelled back at them as the three of us split to head to our first class.

I'm not ready for this. As I was walking towards the changing room, I heard a familiar voice call my name.

"YO KENDALL! WAIT UP!" Oh lord. Kill me. I turned back to see Jason who's been crushing on me since Freshman year. He's cool and part of one of the most popular groups in school but sometimes he's just really annoying---and not my type.

"Looking great! Have you been working out?" he asked and gave me a wink. Ok I have no time for this.

"You're going to make me late dude. Gotta go. Bye!!!"

"Kendall wait!!!" Nope. Nope. Not today, Jason.

This....is definitely going to be one hell of a school year. And it's only going to get worse.
