I woke up to the sound of my noisy alam clock. Oh great time for school(hint the sarcasm). I quickly got out of bed took a quick shower and got dressed and I was curling my hair my phone went off, from Scarlet. She texted I picked up my iPhone put of my short shorts back pocket and look at it

" heyyyyyyy boo"

I texted back

"What up"

"I was thinking we should go to the fair tonight"

" ugggggggg do I have to???"

"Yeah u need to get out of the house since u and chase aren't together anymore u should TOTALY make ur self available!"

"Fine whatever pick me up at8:00 see u at school"

So about a month ago me and my x boyfriend broke up he fricken cheated on me I was so mad because I thought we wold last longer. We were together 2 years I really loved him when I found out he cheated on me I went and slapped him kicked him in the gut and cursed him out. Never again will I fall for someone. Oh and my names Riley.

I finishes curling m hair and put on my bug metal foot brace and I combat book on the other foot. Then I went down stairs and didn't bother to eat breakfast didn't really feel like eating. I walk to school everyday so I immediately headed out the door.

I threw my back pack on my bed and sat on my bean bag chair pulled out my phone and logged on twitter. Then scarlet texted.

" picking u up at 8 be ready"

I didn't even bother texting back

I went back to twitter and looked at Niall Horan's page from one direction all of my friend loved them i didn't really see what all the fuss was about their just 5 normal lads. Although if I had to pick a favorite Niall would be it. They were currently in London just like me well I live their but I guess they were on break.

I checked the time it was already 7:30 frick it's already late I ran into my closet grabbed a hot pink crop top and white short shorts and combat boots and got dressed. I guess u could say my style is edger but my attitude was definitely a Tom boy but whatever. I applied eye liner mascara and a little lip stain. I heard a knock at the front so quickly ran down the steps and answered it

" Ready boo" scarlet asked

"Yeah whatever" I said back

" that the spirit" she said getting in her red jeep

" just shut up and drive" I said looking out the window

When we got their it was packed we walked around a little bit and met up with some friends.

" hey Riley u should TOTALY do the eating contested you eat a lot at home and around us and don't gain a pound so why not?" Maddison my other friend said

" ahhhhh okay" I said signing the forms for it

I stood up on the podium and look to my right to see my competitors and right next to me was Niall Horan!

Chapter 2:

Okay so I gotta admit I do kinda like One direction there music is pretty good and they're sorta cute. So I guess I was fan girling just a bit in my head. But I kept my cool and tried to leave my face looking pretty straight.

We shook each others hand going from right to left,when it was time to shake the contestants hands to the left Niall was first.

"Hello I'm Niall." He said his Irish accent was showing

"I know." I said back

"So your a fan?" He asked

"Not really, oh and I'm Riley."

"Ohhh well nice to meet you Riley!" He said looking a bit disappointed. I swear when our hands were connected I felt sparks.

When we were done shaking hands, the announcer stated the rules. I kinda tuned him out he was irrelevant, all I cared about was winning. When he was done, he stared to count down from five to signal the starting of the contest.

5,4,3,2,1! A huge horn went off and we all immediately started to dig into our wings.

About 5 minuets I to the race 3 people had already puked and dropped out. As 10 minuets went by people started to drop out until only Niall and I were left. Man did I want to beat him. I only had 3 wings left to go, he had 4. I speed up and devoured my last wing then through the bone down and stood up. Since I was the winner a horn went off and the announcer came up with the mic and said,

"Folks we have a winner, what's your name honey?"

"Riley." I replied
