I lie on my bed with my stomach facing downward as I stare at the little note that Jimin gave me this morning.

Should I call him? Shouldn't I call him?
I've been asking myself the same questions for the past two hours. Nobody has never placed me in this situation. I'm in dilemma.

Why wouldn't he call me instead?

Don't be silly, Ellie! He doesn't have your phone number.

Good! Now my subconscious mind is against me. After I manage to gain my inner strength, I began to type his phone number on my phone. My fingers are trembling too much to the extend where I think I have a parkinson disease.

There is no turning back, Ellie. This is it. This is the right time. You like him and he gave you his phone number. Doesn't this prove that even the whole universe is rooting for you to start your little love story?

My subconscious mind is back at it again. When I was about to press the call button, I hear my aunt calls my name from below.

"Snap!" I shouted while accidently throw my phone across the bed. I'm half grateful and half dissapointed. Grateful because I don't have to call him and dissapointed because deep down in my heart, I actually want to call him. Girls are complicated, aren't we?

I went down with heavy steps contemplating why life is so unfair to me. I like a guy and that guy gives positive response but here myself being  such a wimp.

"Dinner is ready!" I hear my aunt's voice as soon as I reached the dining room. I've been living with Aunt Marie since 3rd grade. She got married two years ago and she has no children. And she never intended to. I still remember our deep conversation in the bride's room years ago.

"You should consider to have your own children," I looked at her seeing her immersed in her own thoughts while looking at her reflection in the mirror.

There was  a short silence before she answered me. "What makes you think so, sweetheart?"

"You are going to live with Daniel, and he must wants his own children and.."

"Who says that?! " She interrupted me. "Ellie, look at me. I already think of  you and Lily as my own daughters. Except you are my niece but still both of you are my sister's daughters and I feel the need to take care you both. Besides, I love you and Lily equally. I won't simply give the two of you for an adoption." She joked.

Her smile disappeared when she realized that I wasn't in the mood for jokes at the moment. I was being serious. I love my aunt but we are not her responsibilities and it's about time for her to let us go.

"You make us look even pathetic. I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself. If our mother doesn't care about us and simply gave in with her own daughters, it's okay. We can take care of each other and can live without her."

"Ellie!" Aunt Marie raises her voice. She seems mad. "Don't talk about your mom like that. She loves you so much. She's gone through a lot of things that she can't be with you guys right now. She has her own reasons." Aunt Marie looked straight into my eyes. I couldn't find what was hidden behind those eyes. I looked away from her gaze.

"What reasons?" I didn't give up. She sighed. She doesn't look at me now but instead she looked far behind my back across the garden where the wedding party is going to be held.

After I know she won't give me the answers, I continued, "This is pointless. I can't seem to find the answers that I've been looking for since I was in the middle school. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring down your mood on your weeding day." I stopped. I woke up from the couch and slowly walked towards the exit door. "I'll wait outside." When I was about to reach the doorknob, she called me.

"Ellie sweetheart, you'll find the answer eventually. Trust me." I gave her blank look before I got out of the room.

*JIMIN's POV*

We are at our usual place where we spend most of our time here doing almost everything. We eat, play, jam or sometimes we even sleep here. It's a home studio which we got it from Bang Ahjussi who discovered our talents.

The blasting music sound from the hyungs who have been practicing since afternoon for our upcoming event wakes me up to the reality.

"Hyung, are you okay?" Jungkook, who's been lying down next to me asks. He took a short break from his dance practice.

"Yes, I'm okay." I'm not really in the mood to talk. My thought had been distracted for the past few hours.

Jungkook wakes up from his lying down position and sits with his legs cross in front of me. "Hyung, do you have any problem? It's clearly shows that you're not okay. Y'know what? You will always be the first to practice and you won't stop until we ask you to. But today, you seem so out of it. Want to tell me why?" Jeon Jungkook is a persistent little fella. If something makes him curious, nothing would stop him from finding it out. But, I'm not telling him this one!

"Stop worrying about me, Kook-ah. You should have worry about your dance part. You haven't mastered it yet, we only have 2 weeks." I've tried to make him forget about me and try to focus more on him but...

"Hyung, it's okay you can tell me. I will keep this from everyone." He looks at me with his round black eyes while his eyebrow flips up and down.

I gave him a wide smile to convince him that I am fine. Then, Taehyung out of nowhere, slides on his knees toward us and says "I think this chingu is experiencing an unrequited love."

Jungkook turns his head to me with his jaw drops ready to ask for an explanation. I finally sighed in defeat.

"I won't tell this to the other hyungs," He reassures me.
