*Nialls POV*
"The truth of the matter is, I never did anything" I confessed to the counselor. "I raised my fist impulsively, and I was angry but I lowered my fist, because he looked confused more than anything, and he backed away worried, but I realised that he was my best friend, he would never do that to me" I told the counselor, who gave me advice on how to deal with my friends and was very supportive.
Okay so maybe I lied, only a little bit though, truth of the matter was that I hit him square in the chest without thinking, and he fell back. It wasn't hard enough to knock him unconscious thankfully, all I wanted to do was to teach him a lesson. he ran off, I felt shit, I ran after him but he was too fast.
I saw him after school and apologized, although he still looked upset and backed away nervously. I felt bad. it didn't look like everything was going to go back to normal.
The next day, I felt I was going to make amends with Josh, make everything right again. Although on the way to school I got a call from Liam, he was gone.
