She remembered the time she'd thought marrying him would be a privilege, a pleasure.
But it's not.
However, today would be different.
It's her birthday and she was planning to enjoy.
Today, she would claim her prince as her own.
She knew he would visit her.
But she wanted the loneliness to shatter her again.
Break her.
Make her.
It had, unknowing to the prince, carved her personality.
Trapped her feelings – exploded her eyes in tears.
Tore her heart in twos and threes.
