Making Suzie part of the family

Suzie was at my place for three days by now. Papyrus has basically accepted her as part of the family. Dad and Sans, not so much. Suzie loves Pap's cooking, causing Pap to be very fond of her. But given the circumstances I found her in, causes Sans's suspicions. And her attitude towards certain things, like needles, blades, etc., causes Dad's suspicions. But, I find her to be one of the nicest people in my life. To me, she's already part of the family.
One day When I was watching Mew Mew Kissy Cutie with Alphys, Undyne and Suzie, Dad pulled me into the kitchen to talk to me.
"D---, I know you're fond of Suzie. But we should at least try to find her real family."
I sighed and said, "Okay Dad. But if she doesn't have a family can she be a part of ours?"
"Of course she can." He stood up, "We're going to the hospital tomorrow to have her tested."
And so we did. Suzie took the tests pretty well. Of course I let her hide her face in my shoulder when they had to take her blood. But other wise, she was very obedient with the tests, like she's done them hundreds of times before.
A nurse was wrapping her stubbed tail and arm when the doctor came in with the results.
"Well?" Suzie asked. "Do I have a family?"
The doctor took it upon himself to explain what they did. The end result was, Suzie's mother died giving birth to her and her father was a slave to one of the cruelest slaveholders in a third world country and was whipped to death.
"So what about grandparents or aunts and uncles? Does she have any of those?" Dad asked the doctor.
"I'm afraid not. If she did, they all died the same way her father did." The doctor said.
So, after the hospital, we went to the court house and made Suzie part of our family. Then we went to a bunch of other places to get her registered into. Like the school and the doctor's office. When we were finally done, Dad bought us ice cream.
About three months later, I was exiting school when Jerry and Tom pushed me into a wall.
"Hey ThEre D---! IT's beEn a WhIle sIncE wE'vE HAd fUn! AM I riGHt TOm?"
"Yea."
They went on to beating me up. I was down to 0.5 HP when Sans, Papyrus, and Suzie finally found me. Suzie almost puked, Pap went to find Mrs. Dremurr. And Sans tried to heal me. But he didn't know that field of magic, so he at least stabilized me. Pap just came back with Mrs. Dremurr when I blacked out.
When I woke up in the hospital Dad and Sans were resting their heads on my bedside, sleeping. Pap and Suzie were on either side of me in my bed asleep. And a nurse was checking the monitors.
"Oh. Hello." She said.
"Hi."
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I was put through a spin cycle then thrown under a bus."
The nurse giggled. "Do you remember what happened to you?"
"Yea."
"Okay. Let me go get the officer."
As she exited I gave her a puzzled look. Officer? What officer?
When she came back she had a police officer with her. Oh. That officer.
"Hello D---. I'm Officer Blake. Could you please describe to me what happened to you?"
And so I did. When I finished, he pulled up a picture of a Tem.
"Is this Jerry?"

"Yes."
"Okay. Thank you for your cooperation."
"Your welcome."
I was in the hospital for five days. But my Dad insisted I recovered a bit more at home..
"Dad I'm fine! The doctor said I can go back to school."
"I know D---. But it's my job to worry about your health and I want to make sure you are well enough to go back to school."
I sighed, defeated. I couldn't argue with a parent's concern for their own children. So I went into my tube for three more days. When I went back to school, Chara ambushed me with concern.
"OH MY GOSH D---!!! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?! ARE YOU SICK?! ARE YOU INJURED?!"
Of course when she did that, EVERYBODY else took it as their cue to ambush me with their concern. Throughout the entire day kids were asking me if I was okay.
I was sitting at Papyrus's school with Pap, Suzie, Chara, Asriel, Alphys, Grillby, Mettaton, Napstablook, Undyne, and Muffet. We were waiting for Sans and Dad to come out. Apparently Sans did something to get in trouble. The next thing I knew, I was face first on the ground with Tom on top of me.
"So you think it's okay to have someone's brother taken to jail?" He punched my face, "Huh? DO YOU?" He punched my face again.
I felt my HP go down to three. He was holding back. The first hit and I should have been dust. I started crying. I didn't know what else to do. Even though I knew self-defense, I didn't dare use it.
Tom picked me up by my boney hair and turned me so I was facing everyone else. They were all being held down by Tems. And I mean A LOT of Tems.
Tom positioned himself so he can whisper into my ear, "Do you want them to die?" He punched my face again, making my HP go down to two and cause one of my teeth to fall out. "Do you?"
There was a green flash and Undyne was standing with a spear in hand. "GET OFF OF THEM DORKS!!" She engaged in a FIGHT with the Tems. Everyone gathered behind Chara as Undyne fought. As Undyne finished fighting, not killing Tems, Tom pulled out a pocket knife and put it to my throat, tightening his grip on me and almost choking me. I had to let out a scream. I was in pain, I was going to die, I didn't know what to do. Everyone looked at me and Tom.
"COME ANY CLOSER AND SHE DIES!!!!!"
They all froze. "Please! Let us go!" I said to Tom.
"Let you go?" He chuckled. "Why would I want to let you go?"
"Because you underestimate the power of friendship. Ahuhuhuhu~~~" Muffet said.
There was a low growl behind me and Tom, Muffet just smiled. I felt Tom look behind us. I also felt his fear when he found out what it was. But I knew all too well (don't mess with Muffet's confidence in her cooking), it was Cupcake, Muffet's pet.
Tom let me go as he yelled "WHAT IN THE FLAKES IS THAT??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?"
Pap used his magic to grab my soul and bring me closer to the steps. He wasn't used to that kind of magic. Suzie helped me up and brought me to the top of the stairs as Muffet engaged in a FIGHT with Tom.
Tom got down to one HP when Muffet stopped.
"Ahuhuhu~~~"
Sans and Dad finally came out. When I saw Sans I couldn't help myself. I ran over to him and hugged him.
"hey. where's the fire kiddo?" He was starting to get lazy.
I whined and started crying into his shirt. He was getting into the habit of wearing black shorts with a white stripe on either side, a plain white T-shirt, pink slippers, and a blue hoodie-jacket.
"d---? what's wrong?"
"SANS!!!" Pap now just noticed that Sans and Dad were out.
"pap. what's going on? why is d---...?" I looked up at him. He saw my missing tooth. "WHAT HAPPENED!?"
Tom laughed. "DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT THIS WILL BE THE END OF ME?!"
Asriel stepped forward. "Yes. Cause I called the cops."
"What?"
All of a sudden a squadron of police cars pulled up and arrested the Tems and Tom. We watched as they pulled away and went to the station. Officer Blake was left. He interviewed us one by one. When he was done, he went back to the station, I picked up my tooth, and we all went to the lab.
I spent the weekend in my tube. I couldn't function correctly. I just needed to sleep.
