Kelly was sitting in the local diner in Madison, Georgia, when a certain news story came on. "In Los Angeles, a man named Sam Durson was murdered. The murderer, or the most likely suspect, was interrogated, but she fooled the officer. She now cannot be found in the city or state. Here is a picture of her in case you can find her." Then a picture of Alex, Kelly's old self, came on the screen. Kelly's heart raced. They were still looking for her? Why? She had been gone for at least a month now, maybe two. She hadn't killed anyone else in that time-unfortunately-because that would've drawn unwanted attention. That police officer-sorry, detective-was so persistent. Kelly's eyes flickered to the people around her. They were all glancing at the screen with a mild interest, so she started to do the same thing. No one even so much as glanced at her. Good, that meant that no one suspected her. Then the next story came on, and everybody forgot about the murder in Los Angeles a month ago. After all, the girl who had moved in a month ago was named Kelly Newshell, not Alex Sariton. Also, kelly was too nice to be a murderer. At least, that's what they thought.
Sorry for the short chapter! More is coming soon!
