The pen? Where is the pen? I forgot it in our classroom. I get up and run off. Room 125, where is it again? It is pitch dark and cold on the long corridors of the school. I take a candle out of my backpack and light them up. In the glow of the light, I recognize the number plates of the rooms. 122, 123, 124, 125. Here it is! I open the door, it squeaks loud, I flinch and look around. There's no one here but I feel observed. I walk past the board, there is the date of today written on it, Friday 13/6/1925!Slowly I walk through the rows of tables toward the window, the full moon shines into the room, it must be midnight soon. I reach my desk and look after my pen. I need to find it. It is a filler of my grandmother, I need it to write the examination, certainly it brings me luck. There it is! Under the table row behind me. It must have fell off my desk. I bend down and reach for the pen. The moment I get it, the door slams and the gust of wind blows out the candle. In the light of the moon I see a person out of the corner of my eye come closer. I hide under the table, while the person passed me by. He do not notice me. I gasp! He is wearing a clown costume and holds a letter opener in his hand, it is full of blood. It squeaks, the door opens. And closes again.Slowly I come out of my hiding place and sit up. I look around me carefully, it is dead silent and no one to see. I see drops of blood on the floor and follow them. To the door, into the hall, down the long cold floor.I sneak through the stairwell and then in the assembly hall, there I freeze with fright. There is someone laying on the floor! A corpse? Slowly I get closer .. Blood is everywhere on the ground, is he dead? I can not think straight. What am I doing here anyway? In school in the middle of the night? I hear the voice of David, he is the bad boy of our class. "Antonia?" calls he! "Antonia? Can you hear me?""Yes," I response! "Dave? Are you here?" - "Yes, of course I am here," he replies.I look up. 27 pairs of eyes looking at me, all the attention is focused on me. Crap, I must have fallen asleep! The filler of my grandmother lying on my table in front of me. "Please deliver the examination papers!" the teacher calls. I hope the filler has actually brought me luck!
