My mind was fuzzy. I heard many voices but none of them I could decipher. All dialogue was muddled up, making me so feel so confused. A stinging pain lingered in my right shoulder and I went to go touch it but to my disappointment- I couldn't.

Quickly, my eyes shot open and I realised I was paralyzed. I desperately tried to move my feet but no attempt became successful. I was stuck in a lying down position.

I scanned the area around me. It smelt disgusting in here. All was dark, except a little window that emitted a small amount of light. Darkness clouded the room which made me shiver at the cold. There were two bunk beds and I was the on the bottom one. The bed didn't even have a mattress, just a frame and a sheet. I saw a little sink at the corner of the room, next to the door.  Where was Harry and Hope?

The voices became clearer and I focused on understanding what they were saying, screwing my eyes shut. Soon enough, the speech dictation was comprehensible and I could finally understand. They were located right out of my door.

"Sir, they're all in their designated rooms. Nobody can come out because everyone is paralyzed. They all will be like this for another half an hour. All except her."

Silence lingered for a few seconds before somebody else spoke up. "Good, I want her to see me as soon as she's okay. She is the reason after all that I brought them all in after all."

My breathing hitched.  Are they talking about me?  Wherever I was, it wasn't a good place and I didn't admire it one bit. I felt constricted and trapped with no way out.

A rattling noise startled me and I realised that the door was opening. My heart started pounding and I shut my eyes in hopes that I'd look like I was still unconscious.

The creak of the door indicated that the voices outside were inside the room now and footsteps were heard, heading in the direction where I was situated. All of a sudden, I felt a presence from the body that cascaded warmth towards me. I tried my hardest to act stationary but all attempts were thrown out the window when I felt a hand graze my cheek.

My eyes flung open and met the eyes of the culprit. It was him. The man I saw at the party, still wearing the same leather jacket and black jeans. I avoided all eye contact with his eyes, knowing that If I even bothered to shut my eyes, he would know I was awake the whole duration of time.

"Look Scott, she's up now. Get her ready and bring her to my office." His hard voice spoke, resonating through the room. I shut my eyes in fear of being in a secluded area with him. He was obviously greatly respected and all I knew was that I didn't want to comply.
