Our Wonderful World
The world is a wonder,
Even if it’s in yonder.
For our world, who has taken care of us.
Our wonderful world is a gift, especially for us.
Full of greenery and nature.
It might last in the future.
Yes, 'might'. You heard it right.
Now, we don't know if the future is bright.
‘Might’ has a meaning, like a cloud.
It’s even a word you can say aloud.
For the world to hear,
Either far or near.
Our natural resources are running out
Now, that is something to think about.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle is what they all say.
However, most of our rubbish might not decay.
We need to act now,
But we need to know how.
We must save trees and grow new ones.
From all colours, tints and tones.
Less electrical usage.
Spread the message.
Don’t take down any more trees.
We are begging, hear our pleas!
Our wonderful world is hurt.
From all the plants to dirt.
Our world is ungratefully taken.
Please, let’s give Earth back the token.
This is for the future and our children.
Don’t bring them a world that is almost broken.
Bring them a world that’s wonderful.
Pretty, breath-taking and beautiful.
This is for us and them, to not let this end.
For Earth, who is also our best friend.
