"Hey mom where are the bedrooms?" Hope asks when we all walk into the house.
"Go upstairs and it will have your names on the door." I tell her and both Hope and John run up the steps. Kol, Caroline, Henrik, and Gabrielle have been living here since we left and they already know where they will be sleeping. "Elena will you and Damon give people around Mystic Falls these invitations?" I ask handing Elena the invitations for the ball that I wanted to do for our family being back together again. They slowly nod before speeding off. I look at Kol and Caroline.
"Come on Care, why don't us girls go and shop for some dresses while the boys get ready for the ball?" I say with a smirk looking at Nik as he rolls his eyes. "I love you." I tell him innocently and he chuckles kissing me quickly.
"I love you too. Come on Henrik, Kol." Nik says and the boys quickly kiss their girls before leaving us. I look at Gabrielle and Caroline with a smirk.
"I am going to get Hope because." I was cut off by a scream, a happy scream. I roll my eyes knowing it was Hope. She speeds down the steps jumping into my arms.
"Thank you." She says and I nod, rubbing her back. She lets go of me giving a smirk. "Are we going or what?" She asks and Caroline chuckles.
"You are so much like your mom." Caroline tells her and Hope blushes. I chuckle shaking my head. "We are using my car." Care tells me and we all nod. Gabrielle pulls her hair up ready for the long ride in Care's convertible. I quickly do the same because I hate my hair in my face. Hope looks at us both not knowing what type of car Care has yet. Caroline leads us to the back of the house where the garage is. Her car sits perfectly in between two of Kol's bikes.
"Shotgun." I shout speeding into the spot before anyone else can.
*2 hours later*
"Put the dresses into my closet please Malinda." I say looking at the young blonde. She nods quickly grabbing each and every dress. She brings them up and I look at Caroline, Hope, and Gabrielle.
"Go and take some baths, I made sure Nik wouldn't put it until later tonight. It is only 2 in the afternoon." I tell them and they all give me thankful looks. I smile as they all run up the steps. I jump feeling arms wrap themselves around my waist. I look at the beautiful face of my husband before suddenly I am looking at someone's ass. I scrunch up my face.
"Must you do that, I am very capable of walking." I chuckle and he probably is smirking.
"No I quite like this look for you." He says smacking my ass.
"Really dad? Couldn't you wait until you were in the bedroom?" John says behind Nik and in front of me. I wave at him with a tight smile.
"HI baby." I say and he looks at me weirdly considering I was on the back of his dad. Nik turns around I sigh loudly crossing my arms. I am now looking at Hope and I wave at her with a light smile. I hear Nik say something to John before Hope walks away. Nik begins walking again and I giggle when he throws me down on our bed. He is looking down at me with a smile.
"I love you Artemis Mikaelson." He whispers against my lips.
"I love you too Niklaus Mikaelson." I whisper back before smashing my lips against his. He moans against my lips climbing on top of me. He grabs my arms putting them above my head and on the bed.
"Can you not?" Caroline says walking in and I sigh against Nik's lips. I pull away and look at her taking my hands back making Nik growl.
"Yes Care you interrupted something." I glare at her and she smirks at me.
"We need to get ready or we won't be done by the time it starts."
*3 hours later*
I look at Gabrielle, Hope, and Caroline who were already in their dresses. Gabrielle was in a beautiful red dress. It was flowing down with her sides out in the open. There were crystals on each side. Hope was in a beautiful multicolored dress. It had a weird top but it looks beautiful on her. Now Caroline was in one of her older dresses. The one Kol got her, it was tanish and a mermaid shape. I was in a red mermaid dress and I could already see Nik's jaw dropping. I laugh with the girls as we go towards the steps where the men stand at the bottom. I smile at Nik as we all go down at the same time. Kol looks at Caroline, Jeremy(Hope's date) looks at Hope, Nik looks at me, Henrik looks at Gabrielle, and John looks at me because he was a loner and didn't have a date. I had called Jeremy earlier asking him to be Hope's date but I didn't know any girls that weren't with anyone for John so he and Nik were my dates.
"You look beautiful Artemis." Nik says grabbing my hand. I step off the last step and kiss his cheek.
"And you look handsome. So do you my love." I tell Nik before looking at John who seems to be out of it. He was looking somewhere and I turn to look to see what he was looking at to see that he was looking at Davina. They were close in New Orleans and I can't believe she came all the way over here. I look at Nik and he smirks as our son go towards her.
"You called her didn't you?" I ask her and he chuckles but nods.
