"I don't understand how your work is always better than mine. Yours looks like a picture from Christopher Columbus's actual voyage. Mine looks like a thousand year old human sneezed dust while drinking water. I mean your art is probably the best in the class. Your definitely going to get an A+ in this cla--" I cut Jennifer off by putting my hand over her mouth.

"You rant all the time. Sometimes it gets annoying and someone needs to shut you up every once in a while." I glared at her from the corner of my eye and spread more gray and blue into the paper.

"Is it that time of month? You would usually listen until the end of my rants." She smirked and rested her chin in her hand.

"Yes, it is that time of month. Thanks for asking." I rested my head on my crossed arms. If you're a vampire, and you're a girl, you also have periods, they are just 3x worse than human periods. Yay, I have to suffer vampire periods every month. So much fun. (Please note the sarcasm). Boys don't understand how hard it is.

The bell rang, signaling that class was over.

"Alex is freaking out. She says three new players are... Well, being annoying douchebags." I shut my locker after putting my books in it. I rolled my eyes at Alexandra's call for help.

"Let's go help her. With that period attitude, they might think that you will cut their precious families of jewels and feed it to them and--" I cut her off again by putting my hand over her mouth.

"You are thinking way to much about how I might torture these assholes. But to be honest, you are not coming up with bad ideas." I started following her through the small sea of teenagers when someone threw an arm on my shoulder. I let out a small squeal and looked up to see Joey.

"Don't scare me like that." I muttered and pushed his arm off my shoulder.

"Okay, grumpy-pants."

"I think your friends are... 'attacking' Alexandra." I air-quoted.

"Why do you think my friends are here?" He swung his arm around my shoulder again.

"One, you said they would be here either yesterday or today, two, they are most likely players, or at least be douchebags, like you, and three, they are hanging around the table we usually sit at." I pushed his arm off my shoulder again when we walked into the cafeteria.

"Great job, detective." He said sarcastically and I punched him in the arm.

"Oh my god, you're really strong. I think you broke my arm." He rubbed this arm.

'Just the perks of being a vampire.'

"Stop being a big baby, I just hit you, and if I hurt you that bad, then you're not a real man."

"I am a man. You're just really strong. It's funny because you have no muscles, yet you hit... maybe harder than me, to be honest." He picked my arm up and squished it. I took my arm from his grasp and sat down next to Jennifer. Jennifer looked like she was about to explode. I can obviously see that she is being annoyed by a boy with brown eyes and brown hair.

"Can I stab him with a fork where the sun don't shine?" Jennifer asked, making sure to be loud enough for the boy to hear. Instead of stopping, he just chuckled and rested his head in his hands.

"Oh, I'm shaking in my leather boots. You can't scare me." He smirked.

"Listen, little boy, and listen good," Alexandra grabbed his ear from across the table.

"You better leave my girl alone before I kill your family of jewels. I will tape them to your forehead, so everyone can see how much of a dickhead you are, as if it wasn't already obvious. Then, you won't have anything to help you play around with and break hearts. What a wicked way to treat the girl that might love you one day."We all went wide-eyed.
