The Game

I woke up, having a harsh pain traveling through my head.
I was in a bunk bed in a room with iron walls. The bed sheets were grey. The room was long. There were five bunk beds on each side. A red light was on top of the door for a few minutes until it turned green.
The door opened slowly, making squeaking noises as it goes.
Jacob and a lot more strangers woke up. Jacob and I followed the crowd, confused.
We ended up in a cafeteria full of people. So many that you couldn't even count. We went in the line to get some food.
I grabbed peas, mash potatoes, orange juice, and boiled carrots.
I ate everything on my plate. Not a crumb left. I really don't remember how hungry I was.
"Were are we?" I asked Jacob.
"How I am I supposed to know?" he replied angrily.
The guy next to me started to talk while he was eating, "Welcome to the Sorson Rooms. The murderer is keeping us as a trophy, but we can all escape in due time. He doesn't have much food for everyone so he picks 4 people every so often to go free."
On a big flatscreen TV, a man appeared. You couldn't see his face, though. He was wearing a black suit with a hood that cast a shadow over his face. "Hello. I am only announcing the four people who will leave. The four people would be Lisa, Henry, Danny, and Keny. That is all." The screen went blank. We heard one or two people cheer.
We went back to our rooms, looking around for any way to escape. Nothing.
The next day, it was the same routine, but the man came again on the screen.
"Hello. I am only announcing the four people who will leave. The four people would be Jacob, Jin, Cedric, and Rick. That is all."
The door opened and all four of us started to move.
Halfway into the hallway, there were more pipes than normal. I felt the floor moving slowly. All of a sudden, we all fell in the floor. Every person was going into different tubes.
I ended up in a camp site full of people wearing a green and black vest.
They handed me a vest as well. Most of them looked brutal and mean.
Only few people were nice and introducing themselves and helping me.
They brought me into a dark green tent. They all began to talk. Their names were Lisa, Daymen, and Seth.
"Welcome to the green team," Daymen said friendly.
"Now here's the bad part," Seth started,  but Lisa interrupted.
"Trust me, it's bad."
Seth continued. "This is all a game, a sick game. There is four teams; Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green: that's us. We have sixteen hours of prep time in our camps and an eight hour war. In war, there are weapons hidden all over the area. We are allowed to bring the weapons back to the base and raid other bases for supplies. There are multiple floors with different areas, with different things in it and, of course, different problems. Every floor, that team gets one more member, but at the same time a team can easily lose members. Well, better get ready. You came a bit too late, so war time is in one hour," Seth said. They all started to move getting ready.
I started to move as well, going to the armory. The big guy there didn't even give me anything. So, I had to improvise. I grabbed a big piece of log and started to carb a sharp point at the end. I wrapped it around a piece of cloth my team wasn't using.
I poured gas into the cloth. Now, when the door opens, I go to the fire and ignite it.
The gears in the far two corners infrount of me started to spin.
As the chains went up the door went up. Slowly seeing the fighting arena, it was a large forest.
There was a barrel next to a tree with fire, going off. I ran to it and lit the torch.
I started to see the other teams with their clubs and swords, coming at me.
I lit the vegetation next to me and I ran off the opposite direction. I saw the Red team closing in, someone grabbed my shoulder. They dragged me into the bush next to me. A hand was in my mouth, it was palmy.
From the bush I heard someone say, "Where did he go?" hearing the footsteps walking off.
I turned my back. I saw a girl with rusty iron armor.  She had a small campfire in the middle. "Quiet there, listening," she said in the softest voice possible.
After a while all the screams stopped, metal clacks started to go off.
The small light turned off and I saw nothing, and I think she's gone.
