The Test

Spencer p.o.v

"Spencer?" Ezra asked. "Who was the first writer to use symbolism while foreshadowing?" Ezra said knowing I didn't hear the question. I knew the answer but didn't feel good so I just shrugged my shoulders and leaned my head up against my cold hands. I didn't feel good yesterday either I think it's just a 48 hour bug. I drifted off until the bell rang then packed up my stuff and met up with my friends. We headed to the bathroom to talk.

I didn't feel good so I went to the bathroom hoping it would help. " oh no." I said out loud realising that I'm 2 days late. "Spence is every thing okay?" Aria asked as I was getting out of the stall. "I'm late." I said admitting it out loud. "How late exactly?" Hanna asked starting to worry. "Two days." I said starting to shake. " I have a test if you're ready for it." Aria said digging threw her bag. "Sure I better know." I said taking the test out of her hands. When I got back out of the stall we had to wait 3 minutes.
We took a deep breath and flipped the test over at that moment I knew two things could happen. Either my life could change or my life would stay the same. At that moment my life changed I looked down and there was a bright pink + on it. I almost fell to my knees but there my friends were before I fell already there to catch me. "Are you going to be able to make 3rd period my moms the sub I can just explain we can all go." Aria said picking up my bags. "Yes I think I will." I said starting to walk out of the door and into the crowded hallway we all just headed to science. We sat down just in time for the bell to ring.

I drifted off half of the class worrying and stressing until I broke. I wrote on a ripped piece of paper "we need to go. Tell your mom" and passed it to Aria. Aria got up and silently whispered to her mom. I could see the surprise on her face. She gestured for us to leave. We got up and headed out of the class room. We got to the hallway and started to head out .

We drove to Emily's house not saying a word on the way. We went inside to see Emily's mom on the couch. "What are you guys doing here so early are you okay?" Mrs. Fields asked us. " tell her." I looked at Emily and said. Emily went over to her mom and told her after we went upstairs. "Are you okay Spence? Hanna asked "yes, but we have to go get Ali she stayed home today." I said getting up. "Sure let's go." Aria said getting up.
When We showed the pregnancy test to Ali she asked "who's is this?" I simply replied "guilty."

Right as I responded there were five text tones that rang across the room. We all picked up our phones and looked at each other.

"Congratulations isn't that what I'm supposed to say. I Wonder what Toby will say. Tick tock you time ticking you have 12 hours until I get involved

" no not now please. I can't do this." I said cupping my hands over my eyes. "Its okay Spencer it will be okay" Ali said taking me back and laying me down. I got back up and said, "no, -A will not get to me, I'm going to go tell Toby. Emily can I take your car?' I asked already taking her keys.

" sure but are you sure you don't want one of us to take you?" Emily said putting her hair in a pony tail. "I'm sure I might be there a while" I insured her. "Careful text us when you get there" Hanna said as I left the room

When I got to Toby's apartment I opened the door with the spare key he gave me. Okay I made the key. Fine I stole his key and made it. Anyway I went in and Toby was sitting on the couch eating chips.

"Hey babe what are you doing here?" Toby asked in a sweet tone getting up and whipping the crumbs off of his shirt. I went over and put sat on the other side of the couch that he was sitting on. "I have to tell you something its pretty serious" I said taking a deep breath in. "Anything, babe you know you can talk to me." He said as a smile spread across his face "Toby... I'm pregnant." I said finally admitting it. "Toby..." I said looking at the shock on his face.

"I'm okay, I'm okay." he said taking my hand and putting my head on his chest. 'We're going to be okay." He said rubbing my arm until we both fell asleep
