~day of party~

"Wake up, sleepy head! We have to get ready!" I yelled, running into Ashley's bedroom and jumping on the bed.

"Okay, okay, I'm up!" Ashley said, sitting up and wiping my legs from under me, which made me fall on the bed. I groaned and left her room to get myself ready.

It was currently 10:30am and our guests were set to arrive at 1, which only left us 2 and a half hours to set the party up and prepare everything. Well, technically we didn't have to do much since we were ordering the food and the cake. We just had to set up the tables and chairs in the backyard, clean up a little and get ourselves ready.

After taking a shower, I decided to dress up a little, but not too much. I wore a black cami with a gold moto jacket, red jeans and teal wedges. I decided to do my hair and makeup for this special occasion. I did my hair in a half up-do, like how Ariana Grande does it. For my makeup, I went for a natural look, considering that I was only 10. I just put on a little bit of concealer, some shimmery gold eye shadow to match my jacket, mascara, and lip gloss.

Ding dong!

"I'm coming!" I yelled, running to get the door. Opening the door, I realised that it was Tyler!

"DAD!" I screamed, jumping into his arms and hugging him.

"Hey little one!" He said, hugging me back and kissing my forehead.

I led Tyler in and since he asked if we needed any help, I made him put up all the decorations since he was the tallest. Soon after, Ashley came down the stairs wearing a beautiful baby pink high-low dress and matching baby pink wedges. She had her hair in loose curls.

"Wow, you look wow." Tyler said, walking towards her and then hugging and kissing her.

Not long after all the decorations were put up, the rest of the guests started to arrive. Shay came first, followed by Troian and Janel, Lucy, Lucas and Emma, Ian, Tammin and lastly Keegan.

We, as in the boys and Emma and Lucas and I, wanted to play hide and seek. The girls decided to join too. We played around the entire house. Ian was the seeker first, since he got the most votes. The others and I literally ran around the entire house, looking for a hiding spot. I ran to the pool shed and hid there. After about 10 minutes, I started to get bored. Thankfully, I heard all the others calling my name for me to come out. I won! We played about 5 more rounds of hide and seek before we all got tired and hungry. By this time, the pizzas had just arrived so we could eat. I was starving.

When all the pizza was gone, which took about 15 minutes considering that Shay was here, Ashley brought out the cake! It was an amazingly chocolatey chocolate cake that said 'Happy birthday Ashley and Victoria!' on the top. Ashley and I blew out the candles after singing the birthday song. Since Ashley was too lazy to bring out the plates, all of us just ate from the cake board. It was hilarious seeing everyone have cake on their faces as the result of others smashing their faces with pieces of cake.

After the cake, we decided to head out to the pool for a swim. I ran up to my room to change out into my new 2-piece bathing suit. I grabbed my towel and headed for the pool. Most of them had already changed into their bathing suits and was waiting for the rest. Emma and I had gotten matching bathing suits for this special day. Since we wore the same size, we each got one pair and switched the bottoms with each other so that we had matching bathing suits. We played in the water for a good 4 hours before everyone had to leave.
