I feel my heart beat course through my entire body, making it even harder to drag the little, burnt body partially in my arms.  I look over my shoulder and notice that every artificial being has taken off after my charred friend and I.  Feeling exhausted, my strength begins to fail.  All of us are so malnourished, we aren't given food.  The robots had come to a decision when the world was first under siege by them to develop a pill that contains the amount of nutrition that we need in a day.  We are only given this tiny pill once every day, and that is our meal.  The only reason why we have been surviving on this is because of the amount of nutrients it delivers.  As long as we are still breathing, the robots have complete disregard as to how they care for us.

I thrust my tired body forward towards the stairs.  Just as I reach the white railing I hear the sound of a loud, fast paced alarm that travels through the entire factory.  Every robot with their locked artificial joints run in complete sync with each other but are moving much faster then they did a moment ago.  Knowing that if I don't pick up my own pace now then we are dead for sure.  I drag Atraya faster and much less carefully down the stairs and through the twisted hallway.  Seeing glimpses of clear, pale, flawless skin coming closer and closer, I run towards the only place that comes to my mind, my room and then see where I can go from there.  Atraya begins to groan and mumble as I pull her through the hall recklessly.  I hear the strong, loud beats of feet pound against the ground following my every step.

'' Pull and run, pull and run'' I think to myself.  Focusing so hard on that procedure and not where my feet were going, I trip, falling to the ground and sending Atraya's crisp, unconscious body to the ground that rests in front of me.  ''No. Not now! It's all over''  Feeling stinging tears run down my heart shaped face I accept the fact that I have to give up.  With my face pressed to the clean ground I feel the vibrations that the robots are making, beating stronger and stronger at each step.  All of the sudden, A strong pair of hands grasp my arm, sending heat throughout my body.  Expecting it to be a robot, I resist and try swatting at it even though I knew I would be electrocuted.  I did not want to see which one it was but I knew that I had to save myself and Atraya while I still could.  Hearing a slap that came from my hand, the robot retreated it's own hands from my arm and staggered back.  I finally look unto the one that tried to capture me and see that it is not a robot at all, but the boy I bumped into earlier.

"What the hell is the matter with you!"  He screams.

"I'm sorry I thought you were a robot" I tell him.

"Well i'm not!" He screamed again in a very defensive manner.

His brown eyes shift over to Atraya, her body scrunched up and burnt.  Then he looks over at me and then at the end of the hallway as if knowing what's coming.  I can see the fear in his eyes while he steps back cautiously.  Suddenly, he jerks his body and run's to Atraya to pick her up.  He grabs onto my hand with he other free one and started to run as fast he could.  Now I'm the one being dragged.  I turned my head to the slightest degree and suddenly notice everything.  A whole horde of robots, in perfect organized lines running stiffly but fast.  I can hear him panting as we past my quarters.  Now what? I think.  Although he seems to know perfectly where we are and where to go.

After we past almost every work room I finally clue into where we are going, the scrapper room.  I take a quick look at our enemies behind us and see that they are about 25 meters behind us.  I press harder to continue forward towards the room, but I felt a strong force navigate me to turn right.  The boy dragged me down a very unfamiliar hallway and steered me into one of the rooms.  It was very large and open.  The room had 4 columns on either side of it. It looked nothing like what was in my hallway.  He let go of my hand and quickly ran behind one of the columns, placing Atraya down gently.  Then he ordered me to follow.  I quickly did what he wanted and silently sat with Atraya and the boy.  I sat there with my eyes closed listening to the foot steps of the robots.  They all run past the room with such speed.  Feeling relieved that we lost them, I stand up but then feel the boys strong hand envelope mine and tug down.  I give him an asking look and then he jabs his thumb behind him, implying that not all are gone, one is in the room.
