At the young age of 16 Alexander "Alex" Vane found out that he was a helper demon. He has spent the last 2700+ years helping people and other supernatural creatures that are in trouble. His family are the only demons that have souls. Alex's vacation is interrupted when he is summoned by his father to come home. When he arrives he finds his parents and an absentee brother and recieves an assignment that will take him back to a place where he found his first love but there is a new woman that he must help. Will he be able to save her before her soul is collected by none other than his brother Enid?
