A/N Will be in written third person until further notice // for the sake of the story, I'm changing JiEun's age to 19 ( American age to match Woozi's )

"Ah, hyung! Where did she go this time?" The8 asked, ruffling his own hair in frustration.

Hoshi looked around at the members who were either sad or frustrated. Seungcheol looked the most furious.

"Hoshi, I trusted you to take care of her. All we did was leave you two here ...a-and she's gone again!" He yells as Hoshi flinches with more tears falling.

"I really like you, Hoshi, but if you keep breaking my sister's heart, and having her leave, I do not want you near her. Arasseo?" Seungcheol became the overprotective brother he is.

"Hyung, I'm really sorry! I'll go find her I promise. Please do not hate me if I do not find her, for she is in my heart. I will not come back until I find her." Hoshi bowed and ran off in the direction JiEun had walked.

Seungcheol's face softened as he sighed, turning to the other members who had blank or sleepy stares.

"Ah, you guys can go inside and go to bed. I'll get rid of the fire." He stated.

Once Seungcheol thought all the members got inside, he plopped down onto a chair and stared at the fire.

"Hyung?" Seungkwan waved his hand I front of Seungcheol's face. "Ah, n-ne?" He asked, startled.

"Hyung, is everything alright? I know your sister keeps running away, but is there anything besides that?"

Seungcheol thought for a while. "I guess I'm just being that overprotective big brother. Ever since she entered high school, never leaving my side, I became like this."

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened during high school? Whenever you two and Woozi talk, it's like something bad happened." Seungkwan questioned.

"Ah, she got bullied a lot- By the most popular group in the school. Her ex-boyfriend used her, and he's trying to get with her again. No one understood her but Woozi and I. There was a time when... W-when... Ahh!" Seungcheol groaned in frustrated and let out a few tears.

"S-she almost committed suicide- because of her ex-boyfriend and those popular kids. They cut her hair and notebooks once as she slept in class. They dragged her around like she was nothing!" Seungcheol began sobbing hard, where tears could be seen in the dim light caused by the fire.

"I came home one day from running practice, and Woozi just kept yelling and crying. I didn't know why until I saw JiEun lying on her bed with knives around her and slits on her wrists. She just entered high school and she was treated like this!" Seungcheol wiped his tears away, with an angered look growing on his face. His hands became fists.

"She survived of course. If Woozi hadn't been there, an ambulance wouldn't have came so quickly. Since that day, she stayed by our sides, scared of the atmosphere."

"But then, the next year, her ex-boyfriend raped her. She thought she was pregnant and of course I sent the guy to the hospital." Seungcheol paused to laugh.

"Once more, she tried committing suicide. Woozi caught her before she could jump off the school's roof."

"But Hyung- didn't you all mention that-" Seungkwan interrupted.

"That they were separated after the age of 12? Yes. However, we all went to the same high school. Woozi's appearance had changed dramatically, so Ji-Eun didn't know it was really him." Seungcheol explained.

"But why did you want to know?" He asked Seungkwan.

Seungkwan turned away to avoid eye contact with his leader. "Hyung..."

"Mm?"

"I think I-I..."

"Like JiEun. I know. I don't really know who wouldn't like her. She's adorable!" Seungcheol smiled.

"But Seungkwan, it's not me who picks her love, you know that, right?" Seungkwan nods.

Seungcheol pats him on the back, then putting out the fire with a bucket of water.

"Let's head to bed, yeah? I'm sure Hoshi will find JiEun, if you're worried about that."

Seungcheol smiled and led the younger into the house. "I see you care. I'm thankful you are, so please be careful of what you say around others. Thank you and goodnight!"

The hour with Seungcheol had left Seungkwan dumbfounded. He had thought that Seungcheol would not accept the feelings he had for his sister.

But, who knows? Maybe it was just Seungkwan's inner diva dying down.

"JiEun-ah, you walk really fast!" Hoshi paused, panting to catch his breath.

"I was named second fastest runner in high school after my brother. You're lucky I didn't run." Ji walked faster, only to find that Hoshi had caught up with her.

Hoshi grabbed your wrist, having her stop in her tracks. Turning her, he cupped her cheeks to have them make eye contact.

"I thought about it, trying to chase after you..." Hoshi began. "JiEun-ah, I really do love you. Will you please be mine?"

JiEun backed away slowly, breaking Hoshi's heart a hundred times with each step.

"I don't know. I'll reflect on everything. Please give me a few days. I'm sorry." JiEun bowed and ran towards Madame's house. Hoshi sighed and sat on the nearest bench.

"Ah, jinja. Girls are very confusing!"
