I will never forget when I got attacked by a Pit Bull and broke my leg. I will never forget the kind people who are taking care of me right now. I used to have a home but nobody liked me. They just kept yelling and yelling at me for no reason. One day the lady called Ava just threw me outside and wouldn't let me return. So then I had to live outside where I had to eat garbage and sleep in rocks. Then I remember that I was bored hanging by Ava and Ryan's house. So I decided to wander into the city. It sure was busy busy busy. There were people and dogs on nearly every sidewalk. There were cars on nearly every street. I walked in front of a lady and sat and I looked up at her. "Will you please help me?" I squeaked. The lady did not pay attention at all. Then I saw that she was looking at a cell phone. I bet she couldn't understand me anyway. You see we animals can understand humans but not all humans can understand us. If you believe in talking to animals then you can understand us. And that lady definitely was not a believer. Then I saw someone else. I was positive that he would be able to understand me since he had a dog and I was sure he would be able to understand his dog. I went up to him but before I could sit his dog- a Pit Bull charged over to me. He pounced on me- hard. He scratched my ear all up. Then he ran and jumped and landed right on my leg. Then he used one of his big heavy paws and stomped down on my leg. He also ripped my paw open. Then he said "Take that you Puny Pomeranian!" "Gregory!" yelled his owner. His owner yanked and pulled the dog away. And that was the last time I ever saw him. I couldn't get up. My leg hurt like crazy and my paw was gushing blood. Just then two girls- The Pet Rescuers they later told me- came right up to me. "Oh no!" cried one of them. "Come on Lyla Grace" said the other one. "We got to get her to the clinic". "What's a clinic?" I asked. They told me a clinic was a place that I could be helped. They took me to the clinic and a doctor did some stuff. Then Faye told me that my leg was broken. The doctor put a big white cast on my leg and stitched up my paw. Now I'm currently staying at the clinic in a comfy dog bed. Faye told me that I couldn't play for awhile but her and Lyla Grace could stay with me and pet me and give me treats. So I am comfortable now. Once my leg and paw heal Faye and Lyla Grace are going to find me a home.
