Ok so I suck at poetry, but I had this idea so I'm trying it out. It's kind of sad, but maybe next time I'll try to do a happy poem! But I find it real, so here it is!
What you don't see is
When I'm crying on the inside
When I'm saddened by life
When I'm lost or scared
When I don't know whats right
What you don't know is when I'm lying
To your face
To protect you from my pain
To avoid you telling me I'm wrong
To change my ways
What I feel
Is happy when your happy
Is sad when your sad
Is love at what makes me real
Is mad when you hurt the people that I love
What you can't know is
I'm not your prize to be taken or lost or mistaken
I'm a diamond in the ruft and I'm special and tough(got it off of Aladin <3 that movie)
I'm a gem in your eyes so you better treat me right
I'm not a helpless little girl that needs you by her side
And this is what you don't see!!
