Part 2

          The Ghost of the tower

Howard walked through the hallways, his teddy best in his arms and a smile on his face. He turned the corner when-
"BOO!" "GAHH!!" Howard yelled and fell back. A monster with a mask on lifted the mask. It was James. "JAMES!" Howard growled and stood up. "That was hilarious!" James laughed. "That wasn't funny! You shouldn't treat people older than you like that. Like Granddad said." Howard huffed and crossed his arms. "You're only older than me by an hour." "And a half!" Howard yelled back. "Alright! I'm sorry about scaring the crap outta ya." James said with a roll of his eyes. "You should be! Next time I'll tell Dad!" Howard grabbed his bear and stormed off. James hurried along behind him, hands behind his back. 'You've treated me younger long enough Howe...' James thought. He had a plan.
"Did you hear that?!" James asked suddenly. Howard turned around and looked at him. "Hear what?" "I heard something... There it is again!" James exclaimed. "Now you're pulling my leg." Howard said and crossed his arms. "No... I think I heard something. It might be in the attic. I do have super hearing after all.." James pointed out and took Howard's hand, leading him to the elevator. "Jarvis, please take us to the Elevator." "Right away young sir." Jarvis answered. (Screw the movie, Jarvis is better than Friday)
They walked into the attic, and Howard walked in front. James pulled a sheet and boxes fell over, causing Howard to jump. "What was that?" "I don't know.. It must be... The Ghost of the tower.." James faked shuddered. "The.. The what?" "You mean you've never heard of it?" Howard shook his head.
"Well... Long ago before the tower was built here.. There was another building. The man that owned the building was mysteriously killed... And no one knew how... Granddad then built his tower over where the man was buried with his building.. And now.. He plans on hunting the tower until he's had his revenge... His targets... Are boys or men with blonde hair.." James said.
"But I have blonde hair!" "You might just be one of the targets.." James whispered. "W- Where is the ghost?" "He hides out in the attic of basement... But he'll leave when the time is right to ATTACK!" James yelled the last part, making Howard jumped and yelp. James started laughing and Howard glared at him. "YOU JERK!" "Oh come on! Did you really believe me?" James asked between laughter. Howard kicked him in the shin and stormed over to the elevator.
Howard muttered to himself as he walked through his floor. He stopped only when he heard a crash. He jumped and looked around. "H- Hello?" He called out. He didn't get an answer. 'Maybe it's the Ghost- Oh who am I kidding?! James was lying! Pull yourself together Howard!' Howard thought and shook his head. He kept walking when he heard it again. "Howard..." A raspy voice called. Howard shrieked and ran to the elevator, hitting a random button. He arrived on the floor and zoomed inside.
Steve was walking past when he heard loud feet running. "GRANDPA!!" Steve turned around only to get his arms filled with a shaking Howard. "Howe? What's wrong?" Steve asked as Howard clung to him. "T- There's a ghost after me!" Howard cried and hid his face in Steve's chest. "What? Who told you that?" Steve asked. "J- James did but I didn't believe him! I heard something freaky call my name and I ran away! You might be endanger too! The ghost goes after people with blonde hair!" Howard said with tears. "What's the problem?" Tony asked stepping into the kitchen. "James told Howard there's a ghost in the tower." Steve said with a sigh. "Howe, take it from me. There's no such thing as ghost, and even if their were, there are none in the tower." Tony said and took Howard from Steve. "B- But." "Hey, don't get upset. James might lie because he's your brother. He's a prankster like your father was." Tony said and Steve rolled his eyes. Howard still wasn't convinced.
"How about this? I'll get Uncle Wade to scare the ghost off. How about that?" Tony said. Howard smiled and nodded. "Jarvis, get Wade up here." "As you wish sir." Jarvis said. A few moments later Wade came in with Zoe following. Steve explained the situation and Wade smiled. "All the ghost are afraid of me Howe. Tell me which floor you heard it on." Howard got out of Tony's arms and lead Wade onto his families floor. "Alright Ghost! Come on out!" Wade called. Nothing happened. "See?" "Thank you Uncle Wade!" Howard said and hugged his leg. Wade patted his head and left with Zoe. Howard sighed with relief when he heard the raspy moan again. "AHHHH!!!" Sapphire and Johnny burst into the room and over to Howard. "What's wrong? Why did you scream?" Johnny asked Howard. "THERES A GHOST AFTWR ME!" Howard sobbed. "No... It's James." Sarah said pulling her youngest brother behind her. "Surprise?" James said and earned and disappointed look from Sapphire. "James... Why on earth would you scare your brother like that? That's unacceptable." Sapphire said sternly. James looked at his feet and kicked one. "I'm sorry mommy..." "Don't be sorry to me. It's your brother you need to be sorry too." James looked up at Howard and sighed. "I'm sorry for scaring you Howard." Howard smiled and bit. "That's ok.. Just don't do it again or I'll get Uncle Wade!" Howard teased. "He's no match for me!" James said and ran off, Howard and Sarah chasing him. Sapphire and Johnny exchanged looks, and smiled. "We are never having more kids." Sapphire said and lead the way to their training room.
