"Hey guys." I smiled nervously sitting down in between Blair and Serena. "Hello Ellie." Blair replied with a hint of hostility in her voice. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked.
"We want to know why you left New York." Blair deadpanned as Serena opened her mouth to speak. "I told you, it was quite boring here that's all." I smiled back.
Serena gave me a 'you're-such-a-bad-liar' look. "Ellie, I ran away too. I know there must be some reason." Serena replied in a serious tone. "Seriously, there's nothing for you guys to worry about." I laughed. "Ellie, you can tell us." Blair replied reassuringly.
That's when my phone buzzed to indicate I had a text.
Alex: Where r u?
Me: I'm having coffee with my friends. B there soon...
Alex: U better b. Remember our deal...
Me: How could I forget?
Alex: Just tell them something important came up.
Me: K. B there ASAP...
"Well that wraps up our conversation doesn't it?" I smiled standing up. "Where are you going?" Snapped Blair. "Something important came up." I shrugged. Blair narrowed her eyes.
"What kind of important thing?" Serena pressed on. I waved my hand dismissively. "Just a couple errands." I replied vaguely before catching a cab.

Ellie sighed at the blast. "We're here Miss. Bass." The cab driver replied. "Thank you David." Ellie smiled paying the driver.
"So how's my favourite little Bass?" Alex sneered. Ellie rolled her eyes. "What do you want to keep quiet? I thought I already did as you asked." Ellie snapped.
Alex nodded. "Yes. Well, what can I say? Your misery brings me joy." Alex shrugged. Ellie sighed. "What can I do then?" Ellie asked. "Nothing. Your fate is in my hands and you know how much I hate you and the rest of the Bass family." Alex retorted.
