The usual bright sun that glowed was missing today instead dark rain clouds loomed over the town.

She arose earlier than usual and she walked over to her wooden wardrobe and bent down. She pulled the entire drawer out and put it aside only to expose a secret compartment.

She let out a sigh of relief and opened the little secret compartment and inside there was the silver knife. Well the silver was well protected as it burns werewolves.

She held the wooden handle and slowly lifted it up to her. She removed the special casing and brought her finger towards the silver.

Her finger warming up till right before she touched the actual silver when it started glowing red. It worked.

The knife designed to kill werewolves.

She quickly put back the drawer and she put the knife within her large boot. She went over and took out the heavy black cloak. She wore her dark maroon dress. The layers and layers of the dress keeping her warm. The frilled high neckline and modest full sleeved dress was one that was designed by the best.

She wore the large cloak and buckled in all the straps that would hold it onto her. She ran down the flight of stairs passing several Maids as she went down to eat.

She listened in on her father and brother's conversation. While pretending to eat.

"The contraption has arrived right on time. We will not miss him tonight. That rascal will be dead for all that he and his family did." Her brother whispered harshly.

"Well done my son. Well done." She heard her father beam.

She couldn't help but feel the hurt in her. The day was fast. Too fast. She spent thinking and eavesdropping. She was to meet him near to his hideout to talk before the ambush.

She waited till 7 and pretended as though she was ill.

"What is it with you...tonight I'm making history and you are here lying ill? I will be back sister with his head on a spear." Her brother promised her as he bid her farewell while running to proceed with his plan.

Once she was sure he was gone she jumped out of the window and ran. She reached the spot and hid in the shadows. He ran towards her and heaved a sigh as he saw she was safe.

"We don't have much time." He said as he hugged her before waiting for her to speak.

"The beta announced that he has a contraption...and it would kill you. I'm worried." She told him.

He looked at her gratefully for the information and then promised her he would be safe and they would be together. All she had to do was stay home safe. Away from this fight.

She agreed grudgingly.

He reached into a pocket in his cloak and took out a rag cloth. He unwrapped it and inside there was a small ring. One with a red stone on it.

"I...I...." he hesitated.

"What is it?" She asked curiously.

He immediately bent on his knees. "Will you marry me." His words crystal clear without any doubts.

Her eyes welled up. She did not care anymore. The rules were broken the minute they first kissed. The Alpha's daughter kissed the Rogue and he slid the ring to her index finger.

"You and I are one. With this moon as our witness you are my wife." He pronounced.

The girl was no longer just herself. She is married now. Married to the the one who stole her heart and she couldn't have asked for anything better. She didn't need her family. He didn't need his. All that mattered was that they were there together and this moment.

She didn't hesitate a heartbeat and replied.

"And I your wife." As she kissed him, their first kiss after their secret marriage.

She went home later after much hesitation as agreed. He bid her farewell and with new found determination to be able to live with his wife he was sure he would win. Because she was waiting for him.

He smiled like a fool. No one would ever see anyone walk into a battle so madly in love. She too smiled till her cheeks hurt. Her face glowed with happiness as she ran to her quarters and lay on her bed. Replaying for impromptu wedding. She looked at the ring on her finger.

It was not a dream. It was too old to be real. She replayed the moments again and again. The handsome man on bended knees asking her hand in marriage.

Under the moonlight as though bounded by fate that their love was brought together by the moon they got married the same way.

He too went home and as his pack worked hard to make preparations he seemed love struck. He was hers and she his. This new feeling in him. They had an forever together.

He was not sure what urged him to suddenly get married. But he was glad that he did.

He was ready. He was ready for this battle.
