(Esmerelda: Age 6)
Mommy said we were going to the park today. Which is awesome, I always love new friends to play with. Maybe I'll make a new friend this time. But Mommy needs to hurry up with her makeup, I mean we're just going to the park. I'm very smart for a six-year-old.
"C'mon Sweetheart, let's go." Mommy said grabbing my hand walking to the car. She lifted me up and buckled me into my car seat.
We drove a long 10 minutes to the nearest park. There were 2 other little boys there, so I won't be making friends today. I only talk to the girls. Once I was eating Ice Cream and a boy came and took it and when I tried getting it back and he dumped it on me. BOYS ARE MEAN!
Mommy let me out of the car and I went to the swings, climbing on it and pushing myself. Suddendly one of the boys came over. Oh Joy.
"Hi, I'm Austin!" He said smiling hugging me once I jumped off of the swing.
"I'm Esmerelda, you can call me Esmie." I said hugging back.
"Do you wanna come play with me and my friend Alex?" Austin asked.
I smiled, "Sure Austin."
He grabbed my hand leading me over to another boy sitting on the slide waiting for Austin I guess. Once he saw us he slid down and ran towards us.
"Hey Austin, who's this?" The kid who I'm guessing is this Alex guy said.
"Alex, this is Esmerelda." Austin smiled.
"You can call me Esmie Alex." I said behind Austin.
Alex grinned with perfect white teeth, "Hi Esmie. wanna go see the ducks with Austin and I?"
I nodded taking Austin and Alex's hand pulling them towards the lake.
Maybe not ALL boys are bad. Cause Austin and Alex, are the nicest boys I've ever met in my whole life. I'm sure we'll be best friends forever.
